I hope they sign a couple of good free agents.

Dude, sarcasm.

It was a joke.

I definitly do not agree that Troy Smith will be picked up in the first round.

What in the hell are you talking about? Or should I get the moderators involved?

Yesh, sarcasm. Isnt it obvious?

Come on Botankus, protect me?

*rushes to Smas' defense and apologizes for being late after spending time studying the Tennessee Titans' plans to name Pac Man Jones Team Minister of Ethics*

The point has been made, and there's no reason for anyone to get pissy over it. In the GDF, no one would have cared. Hell, there are threads like "What's it like to be a black person?" and "What's it like to be a white person?" so someone had the idea to throw a little humor into the mix and create a thread called "What's it like to be a human being?"

I thought the Eric Crouch comment should have made the presence of sarcasm more evident than directly stating the cynical intent itself.

Troy Smith is going to be a sleeper I am telling you.....

Pass on him and they will regret it. Not saying he will be a HOF but I am making a guarantee that he will be a pretty good NFL QB.

I guess Bulluck is the Team Minister of Kicking Ass?

Maybe, maybe.

Never know, but the way things are happening for him, he aint helping himself.

Troy Smith is a joke. I don't see him drafted until day 2.

HUH?

He's not a joke.

I see early 3rd round if he continues at the pace that he is at.

Well,

Botankus point is that we don't need an separate thread for one NFL team when an vibrant thread about NFL business is currently open. That thread is called NFL Discussion thread, opened up by De Niro.

So, in short, we already have a thread about the NFL. We should close this one, or merge it to the NFL thread, thus having an discussion about the Titans in the NFL thread. This creates an more organized discussion about the Titans and organizes the Sports forum.

All and all, Botankus was making fun of people who created this thread and I was participating in the ridicule.

The word of the day is sarcasm.

Are you clear now on what's going on?

Browns landed Eric Steinbach.....Man I hate when Players go to division rivals...but he is a hell of a sign. That guy is good.

[B]Umm....hasnt the Colts proved enough this season?

In what mind do you think the Colts can be beaten when the division is on the line. Is it because the won 1 game against the Colts? Or, just because the Titans had an 8-8 season, which isnt that amazing. They could become better, or they could be back where they were once at 4-12. Why?, because so many teams get an favourable schedule, or underdogs, or just plain overachieving and when next season hits, it could be completely different ball game.

I totally agree with you. Whats amazing are the Saints. they were AWFUL last year really AWFUL and look at them now. That is amazing, not the Titans record.

****, just when I thought the Cowboys werent going to spend massive amounts of money, they spend like $70 million bucks on Leonard Davis, who I thought was decent but not nearly worth that much amount of cash.

I'm happy that they have some lineman again, but really, I dont know. Hopefully they can shore up the guard situation when Rivera goes down.

But still, wow, thats alot of money.

Guess, they're not going to shore up thier FS situation. Again.

I am thoroughly disappointed in the Titans right now. Free agency has started and all they've done in get rid of folks. They have plenty of cash, spend it on some good free agents.

I hope they sign some free agents.

Maybe, nonbody wants to play with the Titans.
