He isn't THAT good of a cornerback. If that were true, than "Pacman" would be in top five cornerbacks. Also, If that were true, then he would stop getting in trouble with the law.
Remember, Jones is still an young guy, but what he provides in coverage, and returning and can play the offense, its hard to pick up another CB with those skill sets for that price.
He's in trouble with the law, but your not going to get Thomas, and Nate Clements, no matter how much they have in cap space. Heck, why dont you just go for Dwight Freeney also.

Dwight Freeney would be a great fit. Smart move by the Colts to "franchise him". Nate Clements just might be ion his way. The Titans are on his short list of teams. Maybe his only list. How do you know the Titans aren't going to get Thomas? They could???

I don't understand why a team that can't protect would want a pocket passer as their QB. Dallas is the perfect example of what a team could do without a protective offensive line. The current solution is not to build up their O-line but to get a QB that can scramble while also securing their future. Troy Smith is that guy, Browns Raiders Texans all need a scramble QB because their line sucks.

Ever hear of Walter Payton, or Barry Sanders. You can't say he's be the best ever out of college when he has only played 1 year in the NFL. College isn't exactly the same as the NFL, and it worked out better for Bush anyways, he's on a winning team, and still getting paid like a number 1 pick.

I wasn't talking about their NFL careers, I was talking about "coming out of college" and nothing past their college careers.
Barry Sanders and Walter Peyton where better all around offensive players than Bush coming out of college, and they didnt have Hesiman QBs handing them the ball, shit, Peyton played division 2 ball, but that still doesn't change the fact that he was just as, if not a better all around offensive player than Bush coming out of college.
