Welcome to the world of business. The majority of businesses that involve that type of money dont want their employees to run around and doing bad shit.

Why is it wrong to expect a player who gets paid tons of cash, plus is in the public eye and is suppose to be a role model not get punished for unlawful behaviour. He's been arrested 5 times.

You sign up to play for the NFL and its thier company, and if you dont abide by the rules set out by the company, you get fired. It happens anywhere else in this world. Why is it wrong?

Also, he had plenty of time to straightening things up. It's his own fault.

It is not just Pacman, it is the rule I am complaining about. It basically says be invisible or else. Like I said when you are a star athlete making millions trouble always seems to find you. In some cases the other way around but in most cases it somebody else causing problems. And once something happens you are done. Example(You get in a fight in a club clearly started by the other person, how will the NFL deal with this?) I am sure there will be court dates and assault charges and whatnot, does this player get suspended? There are just too many holes in this new policy and the way it was before was fine. He didn't have to change it. I think relying on the US judicial system was the best way to go, instead of trying to create your own. I think there will be problems in the future and I welcome them, maybe he will change it back as unlikely as it is, definitely the best thing to do.

The schedules are released today at 1:00 PM. I hope we play the Bungles both times in the first 8 weeks. While we usually bottle up Chad Johnson, Chris Henry seems to average about 2 TD's a game against us.

I see where you are coming from but I'd like to see Williams after Year 3 to really determine his worth as a defensive lineman.

I'm guessing both Pacman, and Henry will appeal, and the union will be able to cut down there suspension, or they won't be able to serve the whole suspesion this year because there appealing.

The fact remains is that anybody who signs up to play for the NFL has to abide by the rules of the NFL and if they break them, they have to suffer the fallout.

Just like any other industry.

And Lord, your statement about how trouble always finds you when your an superstar is completely wrong.

If you notice that the majority of playeres in any league are perfectly capable to not get into trouble from the law. Probably around 75% of the players. So, yeah, a player can easily abide the rules.

its funny with all the titans hype we were dealing with on here... on my madden franchise who do I meet in the superbowl? The titans. Granted it was the 08 season not the 07. Also Vince Young was the league MVP. However Young's interceptions cost them the superbowl.

Titans get 2 Monday Nighters this year.

I'll match that Cardinals vs. Saints game with a week 9 showdown between the Raiders and the Texans. Oh, I forgot: The Cardinals are Super-Bowl bound yet again (or at least until preseason starts).

I havnt heared any talk that the Cardinals are going to do it this year.

Arizona has a good offense but thats it. Their defense stinks. They might surprise some and win 10 games, but I doubt maybe even that many.

they need to draft thomas and then take defense with the rest of their picks.

Yeah, me neither, but for the next 5 months I'm all about kicking some Clown tail (week one matchup). Then during our 3-game stretch where we play all NFC West teams, we'll address that one.

Pitt only being a few hours away i think i might just have to go to that game.

Its a bit rough. Pats, Dolphins, Jets, Chicago, GB, and Carolina (for the fifth or something crazy like that), plus division rivals.

The only easy games will be against Detroit, and the Vikings (maybe)
