Yeah, but Green is like ****ing old and suffered an massive concussion last year.

And? He was ****ing old when he threw for 4 straight 4,000+ yards seasons and led the leagues #1 offense multple years and made the playoffs. Now after 1 injury he isn't worth a 5th or 4th round draft pick? He is a top 5 QB.

ooooo burn, 😂

I said he was ****ing old and suffered an massive concussion. Obviously, I meant it's not very good to think that Green will be your answer to QB. It's the NFL, stats from previous years dont mean shit, espcially considering an 37 year old QB who suffered an massive concussion is the guy.

I'm not saying Green wont do good, or will do good. All I'm saying is that I wouldnt have Green as your protection if Culpepper fails this year. Green is an good QB but you have to admit that its easier to QB a team that has Priest Holmes and that awesome line running for you. That's why that offense was number 1 all the time. The run game was too good.

Your seriously consider Green to be the top 5 QB's in the league.

So who are your top QB's?
Because, you have Vick, Brady and Manning, and Green. Who's next?

So now he is a product of the weapons on that team? Last time I checked Phillip Rivers didn't throw for 4,000 yards with L.T. and Hasselbeck didn't do it with Shaun Alexander. We are talkin 4 straight 4,000 yards seasons, has Manning even done this? So if Manning didn't have Harrison, Wayne, Stokley and James, he would be nothing right?

My top 5 QB's are Manning, Brees, Brady, Green, Palmer. No particular order.

what happened to Vick being an elite QB?

By the way check your facts Green only had 3 years of 4,000+ yards. Two of the years he only broke it by 14 and 39 yards (not saying he was bad just gettin the facts right)

Has manning even thrown 4k yards for 4 years? no he did it for 6 straight years. Then again last year making 6 of the last 7 years over 4,000 yards. Actually it was 6 straight years of over 4,100 yards.

Next time check the facts before you try to use them.

All smas is saying is having all your faith in Green might not pay off. Who knows what that concussion will do to him on the field. And hes on a very different team than KC now so his old #'s are exactly realitve.

If Manning got traded to the Browns, would you still think he would be an elite player? Miami has weapons, pair that with the fact that they just got a top 5 QB and an explosive playmaker, they could easily be the best offense.

After Green's injury he showed me no reason why I should doubt him. He surely hasn't fell off and definitely better than your precious Hasselbeck. And I don't give a **** if it was 1 yard over 4,000, your mentioning that just goes to show how you are grasping for straws with this argument.

And try to pay attention, I mean it was only a couple pages back, I said Vick is one of the best players in the league, that is "one of" and best "players".

I'm open for any arguments as to just who is better than Green except for the other QB's I mentioned.

I think this is funny b/c I read the Browns message board alot. If you ask a Brownie fan this question - with the delusions of grandeur they have - they'd go ahead and order the "Team of the Decade" trophy this afternoon.

About Trent Green, I'd put him around #10 QB in the league, which isn't bad by a long shot. #1 Manning & #2 Brady, and I'd have to think about the rest. For the record, I'd put Big Ben around #15. I'd like to see how he does this year in Arians' offense.

Firs of all you need to stop being such an as*hole. One I never said you were wrong to put Green in the top 5 I never said he will be bad in Miami either.

And I was not grasping at straws with the argument because well I wasnt in your argument. I was simply pointong out that your facts are WRONG. Green didnt do it for 4 years and manning exceeded it for 6. Not saying they had equal opportunities but your the one who brought the stats into this and your the one that opponed the door of him vs manning, so I just wanted to get the record straight on the facts you were throwing out.

Why you start talking about hasselbeck makes no sense not sure what he has to do with anything here. I dont see why your taking such issue with someone saying that an old QB who had a massive head injury going into a brand new system might not be as great as he used to be. That was *MIGHT* mind you no one said Green is done he sucks now they are just leaving open the possibility that he isnt the Green of old. So again not even sure why you tried to make up a fake record for him because no one argued he was great in the past, but being 100% confident in his future is a bit silly, you gotta be realistic.

I dont think Big Ben will ever be one of those great QB's.

I just think he will be an effective QB that will make occassional good plays, but I wouldnt trust the farm on him to move the team by himself.

There's no problem with that because football is a team game and you need an good run game, which the Steelers have had for years now. But your right, I think this year he has to prove himself.

Lord Evo, Vick isnt in your top 5 QB's list, but you consider him as one of the best players in the league? How does that make sense?

All they need him to do is calmly manage a game and not put a good team on its heels. This was done to perfection in 2004 & 2005. This was not done in the most remote of ways in 2006.

I'm just worried because Arians was an idiot with the Browns and may bring out the 4-WR sets in inopportune times, which is clearly not Steeler football.

Well, do you think he can do that?

First of all Forumcrew, I didn't say Manning didn't do it for 6 straight years, noticed how I asked "has Manning even done this?" Don't know how you took that as anything but.

Making up a record?(this is a question) I didn't realize Green had any kind of record, I definitely didn't give him one.

Smas, Vick is one of the best players in the league, which doesn't mean he has to be in my top 5. I think Melo is one of the best players in the NBA, but he aint in my top 5, get it?

I get ya.

But what are the Dolphins gonna do with Culpepper?

Release him, he doesn't want to be traded.

you said he did it 4 years in a row and from the way you said "has manning every done this" i assumed you were saying it as if he had not done it and green was the only one. My appologies if you were seriously asking it as a question.

It looks like culpepper will be released this weekend.

Bears should pick him up.....

well one thing that has given him trouble in the past (even pre injury) was bad weather games so I dont know if hed be the best player in Chi town even if he gets healthy.
