who would most benefit (and actually have the potential) to make a deal for culpepper? he's gonna come pretty cheap but is everyone of the mind that he's washed-up?
personally as a lions fan ( 😮 ) i'd LOVE to see him come to detroit for a 6th rd pick (maybe 5th) sit a year to further rehab and start in 08. i think it'd be sweet. it would give him a year to learn martz's system, it would give calvin johnson a year to learn the system. in 08 they both know what's going on, johnson's a year older, culpepper is a year healthier . . .
damn, i would LOVE to see that. all the while, stanton could be learning from culpepper at practice and be ready to back him up in 08.
sigh . . . lions NEVER do what makes sense though . . . 🙁

i don't think stanton IS stationed to play in 08. he's number 3. orlohvsky if still #2. culpepper would be the definite #2 guy if he came in and at least he'd have some fuggin experience. they got basically 2 rookies backing kitna up. not good . . . ❌
stanton is #3 right now because he just got drafted. When they are in the season Stanton will very likely be the backup
I have heard rumors of Baltimore in dauntes future.

Shit, watch out Green Bay.It's going to be like that Tebow guy, everytime Hester is on the field, you know they're giving it to him.
I know NCAA has its own thread, but I just have to reiterate that I really, really, like this Tebow guy. Did I mention that I want to bear his child?

they won't move stanton up only because he doesn't know the system. orlovsky will likely stay #2 until he comes in and really really sucks.
i'm not a believer that culpepper WILL come to detroit.
i am a believer that it would make a lot of sense.

Then, please dont expect any foreplay my friend, its all down the middle when he gets going, and you know its going to happen.
Quinn and Russel will play. Who else do they have?
Frye and Walter...ha!
They cant justify spending the massive amount of signing bonus for Russell if he doesnt play now because they have nonbody, and the Browns cant justify giving up their pick next year (which could be the pick that sets them alright for that horrible, horrible defense that never fix)
Ask the Cleveland Browns fanbase. I do the "know your enemy" thing and go to their message board quite a bit.
Half think Quinn is going to step in and start shredding teams 44-7, while the other half think Charlie Frye will do just fine in dismantling teams with bombs to Edwards and Winslow, Jr. on every other play while Quinn is getting his nuts groomed for the HOF.
And oh, they think their defense is dynamite.
