The last two sentences are exactly what I am talking about. It doesn't matter if he knew these people are not, he is not directly or indirectly responsible. He obviously didn't know they were going to start shooting at people when he went with them to the club. So he was in the club? Did it say he was involved in the altercation? Who cares?

Blame him for the friends he chooses, but don't try and say shit like "he was in the club when it happened". That's bullshit and it is exactly what I have a problem with.

But these are probably the same friends he grew up with, it's hard just to stop hanging out with them, if you had friends you would know this. Plus he grew up without a father, that played a huge part in how he grew up and what he is now.

Jones knew what was going to happen. He did nothing to stop it. He is paying for it with his life. I hope Jones enjoys prison because at this point in time that is exactly where he is headed.

For doing what?

would you agree that pacman likely knew his friends were people who could get him in trouble? i mean do you think he understood what kind of people he was choosing to be hanging with?

i agree with this. the people you grow up with DO influence you. you need a strong example at home to counter these 'types' of friends and influences. barring a strong home life (and i don't know pacman's history) you need to simply be smart enough to make good decisions. your choice of friends is a decision. he can't be excused simply because it is . . . tough to leave his friends. the responsibility lies with him to find NEW friends, or at least to simply not be hanging with people he likely knows can get him into trouble.

pacman is a big boy. a poor upbringing (if he had one) and the influence of some 'bad' friends are not excuses. 😬

So the guy didnt have a father. What an bullshit excuse.

I murdered 10 kids last night, but its alright because I didnt have a father to show me its wrong.

Jones is a moron. He wants to stay out of trouble, then goes around with his entourage who shoot at cars. That's trouble and he was there.
He has no sense of being responsible. If he wants to do this shit and hang out with the hood, then **** him, dont try to get into the NFL. He obviously doesnt give a shit and in three years, if he doesnt change, he will be shot.

Obviously you underestimate the impact a father has on ones life if you think not having one is no excuse for hanging out with the wrong people.

He is a jailbird. He should be found guilty of the crimes he is accused of. You do not constantly hang with people who are bad. Something is terribly wrong there. I hope prison time or at the very least the threat of prison will jar Jones's mind so he can see the error of his ways.

i can see it being a cause for making a LOT of bad decisions. but sooner or later, as he grows up, (he IS college educated - sorta) he needs to start taking responsibilty for his own actions. it can only be used as an excuse for so long.

at least imo. 😬

It's a bullshit excuse.

Understandable if your an kid, or teenager acting out, but as full blown adult, its an bullshit excuse.

You think he is the only NFL player without an father?

Pacman needs to get older and go by Adam, when he does that, get a fuzz buster ya retard.

Like I said, going by your comments you obviously underestimate the impact a father has on someones life.

It just doesn't affect your childhood, it affects you no matter your age. If someones childhood was messed up, don't you think that will affect them later on? Don't you think that will change them? What do you think a father is for, to drive you to school?

People will use that as an excuse because it is a damn good excuse and you shouldn't try to down play it, that is some serious shit, but I don't expect you to understand, not after reading your post.

kids always look up to their dads, they are their role modle, what ever they do, they'll do it, it isn't a very good excuse. Look at his position, he is in the frickin NFL, make the most of it, but not like this.

"I didnt have a dad so im gonna hand out with gang bangers and everyone should think its ok." Something tells me all the people out there who grew up in broken homes and in s*hit a$$ neighborhoods and still made something good out of their lives and had to work their a$$ off to do so wouldnt agree with that statement. And they would think Pacman is wasting a great opportunity to make up for his crappy childhood and make the life of himself, his family and even some of his friends (if they actually want to better theirselves) MUCH better.

That LE is out entire point.

Adam Jones not having a father, that is a very lousy excuse. Just because he didn't have a father growing up just doesn't give him an excuse for the things he has done. T. J. Houshmandzedah grew up without a father also, IS HE Shouting up strip clubs and constantly being talked to by the cops? Hell no he isn't. There are a lot of kids who grew up without a father, I should know, but they are not constantly getting into trouble with the law. Adam Jones is nothing but a dumb, ignorant wimp who should tell his so called friends bye bye. Since he hasn't, he keep getting into trouble. On of these days unless of course Jones is in prison, Jones will be in trouble once again, but this time he might be dead himself or cause someone elses death. Also doesn't Jones realize he grew up w/o a dad, I GUESS HE WANTS HIS KID TO GREW UP WITHOUT A DAD ALSO.

See Lord Evo, there isnt any excuses for Jones behaviour.

It's all entirely up to him. People have all sorts of shit in thier lives, doesnt matter if its not having an mother, father, or thier brother turned out to be thier sister.

It's his responsibility to make sure he doesnt get involved into shootings and shit like that. I dont ****ing care if he wants to go to an strip joint, but he knows who he hangs out with and its his fault if he gets into trouble for the people he hangs around with. If he wants to continue, dont really care, but if he wants to get back into the NFL and have some sort of meaningful career, its his decision to stop hanging out with his friends that cause shit.

Not having an father is no excuse for what he does. It's an bullshit excuse.

It isn't a bullshit excuse. Just because one person who grows up without a father turns out fine doesn't mean the next guy will. It doesn't work that way, and I'm pretty sure you know this. Life doesn't work that way, this isn't The Giver. Everyone doesn't think or function the same, but you are making it out like you know what is going on in his head. Unless your name is Matt Parkman, I seriously doubt it. You don't know him, yet you speak like you hate him. Ever heard of someone being define by the circumstances that surround them?

I don't care about your little experiences with people who grew up without a father. Their name isn't "Adam Jones". I don't care about TJ Whoseyourmama or anyone else ATM. We are not talking about them. People react to events in different ways. We are not all the same. And until you realize that you wont be able to understand or comprehend many situations in life.

PRIEST EVO OUT!
