I think an interesting situation is developing in KC at the QB position. Face it, Damon Huard will probably not be in a Chiefs uniform in 2 years. For everyone who thinks he is a long-term solution, I cannot help but recall the playoff-less and underachieving Steelers pass rush turning the guy into a frightened JV quarterback last October. Also, I'm not sure if Brodie Croyle is anything more than a career backup.
Here's what I was thinking. If I were the Chiefs, I would do everything in my power to secure Brian Brohm next year. The guy is franchise material, and I think Chiefs when I think of this guy. While there may be as many as 6 QB's going first round next year, he has a good chance of being top 10, or even top 5. Of course, this probably won't happen unless they go 5-11 next year, and that would be a shame...or a blessing in disguise, perhaps?

You never know. KC could easily go 5-11 if they have one injury. But if Romo doesnt work out for the Cowboys this year, Brohm will probalby be going to them if Browns suck this year.

Yeah but The Chiefs got nothing except Larry Johnson and all their going to do with him is run him into the ground and in a few years LJ will break down and suffer a massive injury forcing The Chiefs and Herm Edwards providing Herm is still the coach to draft a high profile tailback.

TB could be the possible team for Brohm. Make sense. They upgraded thier d-line with Adams and they have Cadilliac.
The Jets, I cant see them having a chance with Brohm. Team is pretty good and I dont think they'll get an high enough draft pick to have a chance at him.
The Cowboys will either get Brohm, or McFadden. That's my take on next year.

I have faith in Romo. He played extremely well last year considering the circumstances.
I'm just saying that Romo isnt a sure thing until he proves himself this year that he can be the next Dallas QB.
If he aint, Dallas has two draft picks, one being near the top 8 and if Cowboys fail, could be in the mid teens. With both of those, they could easiliy get McFadden, or Brohm. It's definitly not going to be a defensive player.
On a sad note, I was thinking of getting tickets to the Bills game against the Cowboys for the Monday nighter. Well, the story goes, my girlfriend was going to take care of all the arrangements and was going to buy the tickets. I wanted the best seats I could get (which arent terribly expansive). So we went out for breakfast, and my GF goes, " well lets go home at order those tickets".
I'm like, "what, you didnt already order them".
"No, didnt think I needed too because its just the Bills".
"What? I want the best tickets".
"We'll be fine"
So we get back home, go online, and guess what, all the tickets are sold out. I was so pissed. My only chance to see the Cowboys, and I have to wait another 4 years, and I might not even see them because they might not play in Buffalo. AHHHHHH!!!!
Anyways, thats before Buffalo turns into the Toronto Bills. hahaha..
