I mean it worked out for you but it was a stupid pick. When you know inter division games like that are gonna be hard fought you should avoid them. And AZ only won because seattle had one of dumbest mistakes ive ever seen in my life.
Ahh, the Cowboys did give me a scare at halftime but they dominated the second half.
The defense did look better but its the Miami Dolphins so I dont know if thats the reason for the good play.
A couple of worries.
1. Barely any sacks. For an Wade Phillips team, I'm expecting more pressure.
2. WR depth. Outside of TO, Crayton, Glenn are both injured and without either of those, I dont think TO can do it all himself.
3. Secondary. They still get beat.
Romo on the other hand looks very good. So hopefully, they get him to a contract and its not huge.

Bah I had to pick someone, and after seeing the return of the Edge last week I just had to go with the Cards. They are only a fumble recovery away from being 2-0.
The Pats arnt going 16-0.
They'll probably go 15-1, but not perfect. I ****ing hope they dont go perfect.
Looking at the first quarter of the game tonight and it's obvious that the Chargers are going to be 1 dimensional. They dont have the talent on WR to really make teams worry about it and Rivers has not looked good in the past two weeks, granted against good defense.
And what was the problem with TO's TD celebration? Why did it warrent the penalty?

It kinda of looked like it was planned with the TV crews. Somehow that camera guy was right there, while half his teammates were not.
Still great celebration though.
Johnson on the otherhand, that jacket celebration was one of the worst I've seen. I would of been better if he took that jacket out of his ass, worn it when he caught the ball. That would of rocked.

Janikowski kicked the 52-yarder in OT to win it for the Raiders, but hollllld on a minute. Shanahan called TO right before the snap. Of course, Janikowski's next kick hit the uprights. Shanahan informed the officials beforehand that he was going to call timeout.
My question is, what do you do in that situation if you're the coach of the kicking team? I know they don't have video cameras on the sidelines, but could Kiffen have known about the TO beforehand to save his kicker the leg strength? I know Janikowski has the strongest leg in the league, but I mean this question for all teams.
If the ref's knew, why did they let the kick go on?
I've seen some pretty shitty calls in the past two weekends.
But I give credit to Kiffen, the past two games have been really close for the Raiders. If he continues down the same path this year, there's going to be an huge influx of young coaches, and the old coaches are going to be sent away.

The coach pulls the official aside and says, "I'm going to call timeout right before the snap" like they do in college. Even if the kicking team knew about it, they have no choice but to go through with the kick or else risk a delay of game penalty.
I have a feeling, since now it has finally affected Al Davis, that this issue will be addressed in the offseason.
Last year the Saints had so much raw emotion helping them throughout the year. After the first two games, where did it go? The Saints looked out of place their first 2 games. I loved Reggie Bush at USC. But right now he isn't doing anything special. As for the other overrated team The Chargers.. lLT is what averaging what 2ypc after the first two games. Its superbowl or bust for them and frankly more likely bust.
