Man i was excited when we signed Kerney but he has outdown all of my expectations. 3 sacks today to give him 13.5 on the year. Woot now a safety oh yea this is nice revenge for the loss earlier in the year which should of never happened if it wasnt for a silly communication error. The NFC West is once again claimed by Seattle!
wow moss dropped another easy one

I would be watching if it was on TV but it's not. I'm wondering the same thing.
And as for the Steelers, they are idiots. They shouldn't have passed it on 3rd down, and shouldn't have done a trick play on 4th. They should have done a simple pound the ball in for a touchdown. If it didn't work, oh well. Don't do some trick play bullshit with the game on the line.

Trick plays are usually always executed in desperate times. The Steelers are also incapable of pounding the ball forward. Although, their running game revolves around VERY short yards per play. Their running game in the redzone is even more pathetic than the running game at mid field.
Instead of getting an OH WELL, from not successfully running. They got an OH WELL from failing in the passing game. They got an OH WELL either way, whats wrong from getting an oh well from passing rather than running?

Really, how so?
There were a bunch of "ifs" in there. The real quote was something like. "If we can control the ball, and our special teams can make some plays for us, than yes, I think we can win....if we do all that, I can gurantee a win" but all the media potrayed it as "SMITH GURANTEES STEELER WIN"....not to the mention from the quote it sounded like the reporter asked him if he thinks he can beat the Patriots, whats he suppose to do, say "no, I think we dont have a chance". Now he didnt have to gurantee the win at the end, which he'll definetly learn from, but still, once again its just something the media blew up, and made it bigger than it really was, but Rodney Harrison had the best quote earlier in the week when reporters told him about Smith's quote
Reporter-Smith guranteed a victory
Harrison-Who?
Reporter-Anthony Smith
Harrison-Never heard of him.

Agreed on both accounts.
3rd down analysis:
Whoever it was in the history of football that said throwing a fade to anyone under 6'3" was the definition of a great play call should be shot.
4th down analysis:
If you're going to run it on 4th down from the goalline, why the hell wouldn't you run it on 3rd?

Because IMO it's much easier to gain 1 yard running then it is passing. There is less stuff that can go wrong. Especially f you're just going to lob it up like they did. In a pass play, one little tip of the ball would ruin it, the ball thrown slightly off and the reciever might drop it. Everybody could be covered are you're f*cked. In a run play, you either get the 1 yard or you don't.
