Fascinating
Hopefully Zeke, your prediction doesnt come true about the Cowboys.
It's funny that NFC East, for the second time in a row has 3 teams in the playoffs. Just goes to show you that the East is cleary one of the harder divisions in the league. Similiar to the Colts division. I gaurentee you that the Pats would of lost a few games if they were in those two divisions.

I am a Browns fan, yes I am frustrated we didn't get into the playoffs with a 10 - 6 record, but we could have had it last week with a win over the Bungles. On a Browns forum I go to, all of the fans are mad and saying that the Colts laid down, etc etc. If we had beat the Bungles last week, no one would have cared about tonights game. So in my eyes, it's our own fault we didn't get in. But its still a good accomplishment to get 10 wins, especially in Cleveland. But that also proves how strong the AFC is. If Cleveland was in the NFC, we would have won our division. lol
yeah I was pulling for the Browns to make it to the playoffs.its been so many years since they been there and they got such loyal fans I really wanted to see them make it but they didnt deserve it.Like you said, they had their opportunity against the Bungles and if you cant even beat the bungles and take care of your own business and got to rely on someone else to get there, then you dont deserve to be there.all they had to do was take care of their own business and beat them, they couldnt do it so they got what they deserved.

I don't look at it as "deserve to get in", I mean you get in the playoffs anyway you can. But yeah, they had control of their own destiny and couldn't get the job done.

If it makes you feel any better.....At least Mike Brown isn't the owner of your favorite team. =P
But seriously, kudos to the Browns. I knew they were eventually gonna put something together. Just sucks for their fans that they finish 10-6 and still miss the playoffs. If only you were in the NFC.
Well in other news at least the bengals get to pick top 10..
Next seasons NFL schedule

Thanks, I predicted a 9-7 season so I was close to the actual record. Yeah it sucks that we didn't make the playoffs, but Browns fans are one of the most loyal group of fans in Football, I think. Our schedule next year is going to be tough and hopefully it wasn't just this year's schedule that got us to 10-6.
Who would you like them to take with a Top 10 pick?

yep when you can control your own destiny to get into the playoffs and you go out and lay an egg like they did against a bad team, well you dont deserve to be in the playoffs.Martyball works during the regular season but it doesnt work in the playoffs.

Playoffs in a couple of days. Look forward to them.
yeah I guarantee,my chargers will win at least ONE playoff game now that the Chargers got smart and realised Marty The moron will get you to the playoffs but he's not known as one and done for no reason at all. 😆 Im so happy he is finally gone.any coach would have been an improvement over Marty. There is no worse a coach to have in the playoffs than him if you want to advance.

Browns didn't play "Martyball." Anderson just flat out choked and showed everyone what he really is. The media is making Derek Anderson look like one of the best QB's in the league, when he isn't. I've watched every single game the Browns played this past season, Anderson could not complete the underneath throws when he needed to, many times he got bailed out by Winslow and Edwards when he threw inaccurately.
Here's some numbers;
11 TDs to 2 INTs vs Miami, St. Louis, and Cincy(first meeting)
18 TDs to 17 INTs in the other THIRTEEN games.
Yeah he threw 29 TD's and finished with an 82.5 rating, which is a good year, but his production went down when teams got film on him.

My bad,I MEANT to put that part in there about Martyball in my SECOND post where i was saying now that Marty the moron is no longer the Chargers head coach anymore FINALLY, the Chargers will win at least ONE playoff game because Marty was always known while with the Chiefs and Chargers as ONE AND DONE when the playoffs came around. 😆 His mind always froze up in the playoffs. 😆
He was a good coach when he was with the Browns and when he first came to kansas city, but he hung around with that jackass general manager of the kansas city clowns football team Carl Peterson too much and became a moron later on in his later years.
anyways, with marty gone, 💃 I expect the chargers to win at least this home playoff game saturday against the Titans.

As a Brown fan, you should just be happy that they almost made the playoffs instead of losing the 1st round overall playoffs.
Anderson warrents another year to see if he is it. Just because Quinn is highly touted doesnt mean he will be better than Anderson. Could be another case of the Chargers staying with Rivers instead of Bree's.

This must be why Cleveland is willing to rid of Derek Anderson and keeping Quinn.

Whatever, if you're gonna deal him, I'll be glad to have him on the Vikes. You should be happy you don't have a QB like T-Jack.
I'm liking some of the rumor trades for the Vikings. Some of the names in the mix were Derek Anderson, Chad Johnson, Larry Fitz, Javon Walker, and McNabb. Imagine if we landed Fitz and McNabb/Anderson.
Also, rumors are having Chad going to the Eagles for Reggie Brown and a first round pick. The dream offseason for me would be Eagles keep McNabb and get Chad, while Vikings get Fitz and Anderson. Although it's way more realistic that we get Walker. I was looking at the Eagles schedule and I think we should go 10-6 minimum.

I am happy they had a 10 win season, but our D needs help badly and if a team is willing to give us draft picks for Anderson, I say trade him. Yes no one knows if Quinn is going to be a success or a bust, but why give up what you gave for Quinn, then send him packing because Anderson had a career year?

I'm all for giving Quinn a shot, we have the components on offense to help him out, so why not see what we could get for Anderson? I don't think Anderson sucks, but I don't think he is going to be a great QB like the media is making him out to be.
Quinn didn't play more than one series of downs the whole year, but when he got in against the 49ers he took the offense down the field. Winslow dropped a TD pass and Edwards dropped a TD pass but the offense seemed energized just by having him in there.
If we don't shop Anderson then I say have an open QB competition during the pre-season, I wouldn't just proclaim Anderson as the starter.

Take Anderson, by mid-season you will be pulling your hair out at some of the decisions he makes. I'd be impressed if the Vikings were able to bring in Johnson/Fitzgerald through trades. I'm not so sure that McNabb will be released by the Eagles, but you never know.
