Hmm.

We'll see what happens I guess.

This definitely helps the defense but I could see some interference penalties called from this as well with defenders not even going for the ball and just thinking they are gonna blow the guy up and take him out of bounds and lighting him up too early.

So basically, it's advantage: both sides of the ball.

I guess so.

According to John Clayton from ESPN, the Titan/Dallas deal is still pending, but at an empasse. Dallas wants to give up a 7th round draft choice this year and a player to be named later, while the Titans want a 4th round draft choice this year and next year..

Well I dont think it will go through.

Nice to talk NFL but I was on the wrongside of SB 42, Goddamn Giants!

Goddamn Giants made my wish come true.

I am Cowboys fan for christ sake.

Read on another message board that the NFL has gotten rid of the stiff arm. Now it's subject to a 15-yard penalty if hands to the facemask.

In further news, the NFL has decided that the only physical contact teams will make with each other will occur at the coin flip. That should reduce the number of injuries.

lol, I heard them talking about the stiff arm on the afternoon blitz. They made it very clear that the stiff arm will still be allowed. However RB's will not be able to maul guys in the face and jerk their heads around(like they have been able to get away with in the past) The idea they said was to make it a level playing field for backs and defensive players.

Damn, that's going to reduce Hines' YAC average. He may net 50 receiving yards on the season after the penalty yards are deducted.

Vick is playing both sides!

As in being all time QB in the prison yard...

You meant to say the Marion Barber rule.

There goes the run game.....hahahaha.

So punching the face is fine, but not grabbing it?

Someone make me laugh, Is there any football news?

Bill Parcels has begun talks with Michigan OL Jake Long

Sweet!!!

Dec 7th the Bills play in Toronto against the Dolphins. Awesome!!!

The first case of the NFL eventually going to Toronto. Too bad its the Bills.....It would be kinda of cool if it was an expansion team so I can follow them from the start, and play it on Madden.

Going to PA for a vacation with my wife Oct. 11 - Oct. 19. I was waiting until the NFL schedule was released before I started booking stuff. Figured I'd have 4 chances to catch an NFL game. Here's what the NFL gave me.

Steelers - Bye week, @ Cincinnati
Eagles - @ San Francisco, Bye Week

Thanks a lot!

Pacman Jones put his request for reinstatement on hold until the Titans negotiate a trade for him. He really doesn't want to go back to them.

Heh, I imagine Big Ben will be none too pleased by that. I heard he's going to be on Mike Tirico's ESPN radio show at 1:22 Eastern if any of you Steelers fans are interested. I imagine he'll be talking about the rule changes, schedule, and that big ol' contract he signed.

Well, atleast you have a chance.

To get tickets, I have to get into a draw with over 100,000 people in it and it randomly picks people and then you have to buy a package of tickets (I think), if not then by the time regular tickets go on sale, it will be mass choas.

Considering the prices will be really high, thats like a thousand bucks to see 1 game (plus more).

I like the Titans schedule and I also like the Colts schedule.
