Everybody has different tastes. I love watching football but also like watching football(soccer).
But if you say american football is for stupid people, who got another wrong. Its one of the most intelligent sports which requre strategy to win. Thats also with soccer, but a good team if filled with good players. A team in American football, no matter how good of players you have, wont me crap because the coach is what makes the team.
I've never understood why football (soccer) fans have such a disdain view of American football. I don't mind football (soccer) it's no where near my favorite sport, but I enjoy watching the premier leagues and the world cup when it's on but even if I didn't like it, I wouldn't go into their thread and start spewing on about how much their sport sucks.

I watch soccer every Sat because thats the only time my channels have it (and i even have digital cable for chirsts sake).
But one thing I hate about soccer players is that thier bloody pussies. There are some who play but most of the time when they get touched, they flay around like they just had siezure. Considering my fav sport is hockey, its pretty stupid.
I do admit getting the ball kicked in your nuts does hurt like a ***** and warrent falling down crying BUT for an elbow in the back it looks like somebody shot them with a shotgun.
Rugby is tough buts there's rules on how you hit. In American football, you can do anything to bring them down including twisting knees and ankles until the guy breaks them. Rugby is tough but so is football. I liked to see you get hit by a 300 pd linebacker who is running as fast as an sprinter.
an elbow in the back can hurt
and when someone is kicking at ya legs...it can hurt too
i play football and i have gone down in agony sometimes but to some people they thought i was acting...
if u fall funny then u can pull some muscles which can be painful
thats part of football...if a player gets touched then they will make the most of it to win there team a freekick...thats football..thats life

Play hockey and then you'll see what pain is.
I understand people do get hurt and its warrented.
But what I see on the pitch is a bunch of wussies who get hit and cry like a baby until the guy gets a yellow and THEN thier running full speed and playing like before.
Its diving, plain and simple and pretty pathetic.
And lastly, the flaming dude, speak english.
