Theres a big difference here. He has had 1 start and only played meaningful time in 2 games and made a large improvement from the first one to the second. He may end up a bust but as of now you cant say either way. Mike Williams, however, is still and will for ever be a bust.

The Vikings are not going to go the Superbowl. We all know Peterson is great, but I wouldnt be surprised if he has a little bit of a sophomore slump.

He is primed for one of those.

Vikings vs. Eagles NFC Championship.

Peterson's problem is he is so incredibly injury prone. It is almost a guarantee that he WILL miss a game or two with injury, every year. The bigger problem is that they did not really pay attention to their biggest weakness, QB. I just dont believe Jackson can ever take it to that next level so unless they have high hopes for Booty I just dont see it happening.

I also see Peterson not doing as good as last year. It always happens when a player explodes in the NFL during their first season.

I'll cautiously disagree. He saw 8-9 in the box all of last year too. Jackson at least won't be worse, and they picked up Bernard Berrian. Not a blockbuster deal, but something. RBs generally peak in their 4th-5th year in the league, within the ages of 24-28. He may not have a 300-yd game again, but I think he will put up 1600 and maybe 12 TDs rather comfortably this year, which were roughly his totals last year, barring missing more than 1-2 games.

Maybe, I wouldn't put it past him.

He will still have a great year, dont get me wrong, but I dont think he will have the same year he had last year.
