Just wondering. One thing I take from a grain of salt is rumours in the NFL press.

Favre has been reinstated and now apparantly the Packers are going to let him compete for his job? This thing keeps getting screwier.

I'm wondering how much sports writers are contributing to its screwiness.

All I know is football is back. Colt Brennan tore it up in the HoF game tonight. (Granted indy played no defense and everyone on the skins tore it up)

Completely unrelated to Brennan's performance against scrubs last night, I'd like to say I was shouting obscenities when the Steelers drafted Dennis Dixon in round 5 when Brennan was still on the board.

dont go crazy, campbell was 5 for 5 and the first pass he threw was a TD. Also look at that video of Colt, the first 3 passes on it he doesnt go through he any progression he just locks onto a receiver waits and throws to him. He has some skills but I think he has a lot of developing left to do as he has never played against high level defensive competition before.

And he didnt have Freeney, Mathis running after him.

Let alone his competition in NFC East. Hmmm DeMarcus Ware......or the Giants front 4.

Yep.

I forgot about that game.

One thing I dont like about college is that I sit down to watch a game, hoping its going to be a good one, but in the end, its usually a blow out and boring.

That was the case with that one. Unlike the NFL, I generally stop watching a college game after the second quarter.

I would not at all be surprised. But also the only way for all the bitterness to end would be for Favre to leads Green Bay to a Superbowl victory

On ESPN they were supposed to have a Press Conference tonight, but Favre was meeting with the Packers so it was postponed until tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure he is joking or has the wrong info.

NFL Network hasn't said one word about Favre being traded to the Vikings.

The last update had Sterling Sharpe on NFL N and Favre reportedly told him that "The Packers don't want me back."

And the saga continues.
