I'm pretty sure he is joking or has the wrong info.

NFL Network hasn't said one word about Favre being traded to the Vikings.

The last update had Sterling Sharpe on NFL N and Favre reportedly told him that "The Packers don't want me back."

And the saga continues.

He could go to Tampa Bay. He could also go to a team in the AFC.

Thanks again for the wonderful insight.

I wonder who the Packers will get?

Or just a draft pick. Must be a first rounder.

Steve Smith might be traded from the Panthers.

TO + Steve Smith + Tony Romo = Cowboys Super Bowl champions.

dont see any chance of them getting a 1st rounder, teams know that if they cant trade him they will likely release him eventually.

Just like the Lakers were NBA Champs this year?

Oh wait.

Just like the Yankees were World Series Champs last year?

Oh wait.

😛 But seriously they would be one of the favorites. But after the Patriots went 18-0 and then lost, you can not declare anybody Superbowl Champs until they are Superbowl Champs.

With that said....

Vikings D + Adrian Peterson + Brett Favre = Superbowl Champs.

Looks like Favre to TB is becoming more and more real.

Interesting, but highly doubtful. The Jets have entered the Favre sweepstakes.

Adam Schefter says otherwise.

Granted Smith has had problems in the past and the recent fight didn't help him in that department, do you really think the Panthers would trade their #1 playmaker?

Sadly. I wanted him to either throw 5 touchdowns against the Packers opening night, or him to throw 5 picks for the Packers against the Vikings opening night. 😛

Breaking news just in on ESPN Favre traded to the Jets.

Doesn't surprise me that Favre was traded to the Jets. Lets see what Rodgers can do.

That is crazy. The Jets?

If you would have told me this last season, I would have had you committed.

I still don't believe it.

Because Cheeseheads are the most annoying fans in football, this makes me laugh. We won't be seeing many people wearing green number 4's from now on, thank god.

LOL Madden Curse at its worst. Favre is playing for the New York Jets.

Hahaha.

As of Steve Smith going to the Cowboys. Again, not happening. They would have to give up 2 first rounders and they have no money left for Smith's contract.

And no you cant just trade Roy Williams and a few other players because they're signing bonuses will go against the cap.

The Cowboys are playoff bound but not automatic SB berth. We all know what happens to teams that are heavily favourite before the season.

You mean the Patriots? And how they went to the Super Bowl?

I actually think Boston fans have become the worst. I mean voting Veritek into the all star game was an atrocity.

If I remember correctly, last year the Chargers were the preseason favourites, and they didnt make it.

Look at the Cardinals, they're always predicted to make the playoffs. Always fail.

The Colts, every year they're generally predicted to make the SB. Rarely do it.

In the end, usually the team that wins is never the one that is predicted. Its always a team that gets hot near the end of the regular season. Look at the Patriots last year, predicted to easily win the SB, but lost.

Brian Westbrook re signed with the Eagles.
