and it is slower going from the gun and not starting from his movement (when your counting fractions of seconds)

Is that how the 40 yard dash work?

at the combine the clock starts on the runners movement.

Do they start out of blocks?

dont think they so, might make up for the reaction time coming off the gun then.

Maybe, in the end, he would be faster than anybody on the field, but he could only play for 1-2 teams in the league where he would actually matter.

Just think, Usain Bolt with JeMarcus Russell. Eek!!! Put in the Beast man of a kicker and you got a team that can throw 80 yard bombs and kick field goals from the 40 yard line in your own end.....****...instant win!!

seattle tried out a new double FB short yardage package last night going with owen schmitt to block and Weaver to run it. go run away beer truck.

Usuain Bolt wouldn't make it out of the practice squad, have we learned nothing from Brock Lesnar. Yea, Bolt is fast, and its fun to talk about, but the guy has probaly never taken a hit in his life let alone a hit from a professional athlete who wants to take his head off.

Brock Lesnar is a tad bit different. He had nothing special at all, while Bolt is literally the fastest human on earth right now.

Your probably right, but you still should check him out. You never know.

Yeah I am pretty sure Bolt would get wrecked. One solid hit on him and he'll be feeling it for years.

Sounds a lot like DeSean Jackson.

except desean has been a football player for a while and bolt is big. he is 6'5 and pretty built. if hewas gonna take a serious shot at it im sure he would want to bulk up a bit which really would make him bigger than most WR's and pretty much all DB's. i wouldnt be so worried about taking a hit but more can he run routes and catch.

Yeah, he's roughly the same size as most WR's.

Its the route running and catching that would be important.

Send him on deep routes. If he can jump and catch then he's Randy Moss, that is all he does anyway.

True.

wtf Chad John changed his last name to "Ocho Cinco"

He's now Chad Ocho Cinco 😆

Oh man.....

There's an article in Page 2 of ESPN on how the writer followed him around for a few days in the summer and in the article he states that he wants to change his name to Ocho Cinco so the NFL cant fine him for putting it on his jersey.

If that's the truth, man, that's just stupid.

actually on espn they said he made it Chad Javon Ocho Cinco. I wonder if he knows ocho cinco doesnt mean 85?

He would probably commit suicide if somebody told him 85 was actually ochenta y cinco.

I certainly expected Rudi to suck again this year but figured he would at least make it into the start of the year. Turns out he couldnt even make the final 53 man roster. Perry is expected to start with a heavy dose of Watson. In other worthless RB news chris brown is on IR and done for the year, and Alexander is still homeless.
