Oh and in a cool coincidence Obomanu (the guy expected to start at WR for Seattle) broke his clavicle last night, thats what I broke! Whats bs is he gets to go on IR I only get 6 weeks off.

Well, you can always take up professional football. I heard they had some night classes near your local college.

You should check them out.

He's now Chad Ocho Cinco 😆

I'd like to see him get traded to a team with a player already wearing "85" who flat-out refuses to give up his number.

A couple days until opening night. Should be a good game

To see which games you are getting, go here.

That's what Sunday Ticket is for.

I'm considering getting Sunday Ticket, but I have no need for Directtv and don't want to make that 18 month commitment to simply watch football only for 5. But it's hard to resist when Fox is constantly showing Greenbay and San Francisco.

See, in Canada, its different. Rogers TV and Bell Canada both have Sunday Ticket. I even think Shaw has it also.

I pay roughly 30 bucks, maybe even less for all the NFL, NBA, NCAA FB, NHL and OHL (junior hockey) games I want to watch. Hopefully this year all the football games are in HD.

But for the 30 bucks for all that, its a steal. The only thing is that the Cowboys have so many primetime games, or will be the major game on Sunday. Four years ago when Cowboys sucked, they were never the main team so I'm not really using it to my full advantage. I also have to order it for 4 months or more, which is funny considering the NFL season is that long anyways.

Oh well.

In your case, it blows. They're shouldnt be a monopoly on it, but nobody will ever criticize the NFL for it. (Except TMQ from Page 2)

I have to pay a minimum of $98 US a month to get Sunday Ticket.

Base Package + Sunday Ticket

Though if I get it, I'll probably pay the one time fee. So it's only $30 a month. All that isn't a problem for me though. It's that damn 18 month commitment. If I want to get out of the contract, it's $360. They usually have all the games online, but they are awful quality and some times they buffer slow. So I really only have one option if I want to watch the games I want, and that is pretty much what Directtv wants, only one option. It would be a hell of a lot easier if there wasn't a year and half contract.

I've had it for a while, so my **reduced** rate is $300/season, but that includes have Superfan, which is a premium on top of what is probably around $220-$240/season for just the Sunday Ticket.

Yeah, I have the option of buying the actual Sunday Ticket but the Super Sports pack is just too much of a good value.

sunday ticket is awesome

I just purchased sunday ticket. I won't be watching fox or cbs unless they have on a good game.

Well, I know he cant read this but you are watching Fox, or CBS games, Sunday ticket just collects them all.

lol yea sunday ticket isnt some magical broadcast they simply are a middle man to see all the games and not just the ones shown in your region.

He obviously means channel 11 and channel 2.(West Coast Fox and CBS) Not the actual Sunday Ticket broadcast of the Fox and CBS games.

Thank you. You see I won't be watching cbs and fox 11 since I have purchased NFL Sunday Ticket from Directv. I will be tuning in to watch any game I choose

yea all they do is act as a middleman bringing you broadcasts that arnt on in your region, the only "unique" broadcast they do is the redzone channel. which is for fans with add

Did you even read what I said?
"Sunday Ticket broadcast of the Fox and CBS games."

Meaning they are showing the Fox and CBS games. If they didn't broadcast anything, then there would be no Sunday Ticket.

Think of it like this, though it's not exactly the same. NBC showed the Giants-Pats game last season in week 17. But it was the NFL channel's feed.

Everyone knows everything you two are saying. This is common knowledge, at least for those who have had Sunday Ticket before.
