Eagles picked a great time to lose to the Raiders though. Nobody cares because the Phillies are doing great. Any other time and the Eagles might have been murdered.

The eagles will never win a sbowl with Mcnabb at the helm anyways.

decent game, but those ugly bronco throwbacks, ew

I want my Chargers in full rebuild mode NOW.

With Norv first to go. 13

You know you're not much of an "eagle" when the opposition recruits a pigeon to help take you down.

Meh, McNabb gives them a much better chance then any other QB they can get, and a better chance then a lot of the starting QBs in the league.

Yea I am not an Eagle supporter at all but McNabb is way better than a lot of QB's who have rings.

Yep.

Before Manning won a SB, do you guys remember, "Your not going to win a Superbowl with Manning as your QB" comments?

I guess some players have a Super Bowl win gene. Not counting the fact its a team game but who gives a shit about that.

Look, it's no secret that you rate Big Ben lower than Akili Smith and Ryan Leaf. But even though I feel McNabb to be a dynamite player, I think this year is the first year that everyone will clearly see that Ben has surpassed him on a performance and leadership level. I obviously watch all the plays and the checkdowns, decision making, screen options, and zip is off the charts and unquestionably better than previous years. Still has to work on the accuracy of the deep ball, but it's getting better.

The whole thing for Steeler fans has been, "It would be nice to see what Ben could really do if he had pass protection." Well, he has pass protection this year and the results are well on their way to speaking for themselves.

Of course, that being said, let's see how he does against two strong defenses the next 2 games.

Of if I was picking between the 2 today I would take Ben over McNabb for sure. I was leaning more towards the Brad Johnson, Trent Dilfers of the world.

Big Ben doing good this year could also be the case of the kinda of bad run game (at least compared to the past years) and a defense that isn't the best in the league this year.

My point is he can't win the big game. He had pretty solid teams around him and completely dropped the ball against ne when he did make the sbowl. TO even had a great game despite that speedy return.

Mcnabb is a very good qb, but he won't ever win the big one.

Agreed. Ben also led his team down the field in the sbowl against the cards under 2 mins. Mcnabb would have blown it. Ben can be clutch when it matters the most.

In addition to his fundamentals, it's also a Hines Ward who looks like he's 23 not 33, the addition of superstar-in-the-making Mike Wallace, an gelling offensive line, gutsier playcalling by Bruce Arians, and the fact that they don't have to leave Heath Miller in to pass-protect as much.

Way to go Chester Taylor!

Oh well, to be in position to win a game in Pittsburgh against the defending champs when your best defender in the secondary is out is a positive. Can't win them all.

I'm not saying he's a bad QB, or your team sucks but big stats the year after usually comes from many sources including being on a team that wasn't as good as last year.

Man, if Dallas can get all three aspects of football in a game at the same time, there pretty damn good.

Offense can be explosive, but then, could be all turnoverey. It all depends on Romo.
Defense is pretty good. Not dominate good but good.
Special teams are excellent.

The only thing holding them is Phillips, Romo, penalties and "Cowboy" luck. They get a lot of heat because their the Cowboys.

Better to have high expectations and live with some let downs than to always suck. If they are going to neglect Choice though can we have him?

Umm no.

I actually think they should play Choice and Jones more than Barber. I like Barber and how hard he plays but he doesn't have any burst and must be one of the worst RB's in making correct running choices. I don't know how many times I see him break through the line and get tackled from behind, or just run to the right with 5 guys jamming the line and not run to the left where it's a bit open.

Choice on the other hand makes good decisions and has some swiftness to him. He isn't really fast but he makes wicked juke moves.

Jones, well, I think he's amazing. He makes 50 yard runs effortless and can make some good decisions at the line. He also breaks peoples ankles with juke moves. The only problem, he will get injured if he gets 15 carries a game.

I don't think the Cowboys will make the playoffs because they will self destruct like they always do but when they play well, they're hard to beat.

Yea I think Choice should start with Barber as the backup/goal line back. Then you have designed plays/packages for Felix to get touches.
