I do like having Felix doing about 15 touches a game plus receptions. He would be a wicked screen catcher.

As for the broadcast, ****ing horrible.

1. The announcer (not Aikman) stated that the Steelers have won 5 in a row.

2. Aikman stating that Jenkins hit was helmet to helmet because he was defenseless when clearly the WR took at least 4-5 strides. I do get the helmet to helmet on defenseless WR's but once he comes down with the ball, has possession and starts to run, he's a RB.

Also, watched the Rams-Colts game. Did anybody see that excessive celebration call on Lacey, the Colts CB who scored a INT TD? He went into the endzone, then slide on his knees like a baseball slide and then dropped the ball. It was roughly 5 seconds long. They called it????

And, I hate it when refs call a fumble that clearly it wasn't. The Romo "fumble" where he was on his back, and then the ball ripped out. Even with his back towards me, it still looked like he was done but no, the ref called it a fumble...brutal.

I believe going to the ground is an automatic penalty on the celebrations.

I understand that but there is no difference between what he did and what alot of people when the flip into the end zone, or jump into the endzone (and I'm not talking when their on the goal line)

Props to the Vikings. They are the real deal. It was a hard fought battle between both teams. One team just made the plays in the 4th quarter. Who knows what could happen if they meet again in February?

I think someone mentioned something about the Cowboys broadcast. Well, the Steelers/Vikings broadcast was probably 10 times worse (I watched the Dolphins/Saints game @ 4:00).

Bottom line: FOX is a juvenile network with a target audience consisting of Dorito-eating, bath-avoiding, low-IQ couch potatoes who can't make opinions for themselves. And I'm talking all around the board (and I'm not political at all). Thank God I only have to put up with it twice a year (with GB in December still to come).

Could someone please explain the purpose of Tony Saragusa's fat neck lounging around in the end zone? I'm surprised a fan hasn't reached down to ring his neck yet, but then again, not many people have a pair of hands the size of oak trees.

Yeah, FOX is brutal.

I don't mind Johnston but I hate Siragusa. He brings absolutely nothing to the table outside of "Wow, these guys are bringing a lot of intensity", or " Wow, these guys are hitting pretty hard today".

I can't imagine any operation hiring a moron that contributes nothing to the final product. Except FOX, which is Moron Central on either side of the television set.

Fans probably toss peanuts at Siragusa during the game. Then, maybe they give him beer baths in-between biased observations from the 15-yard-line inwards. Or if he really says something clever like "Hey guys, I thought that holding call down by the other end zone was a terrible call," maybe he could get a golden shower courtesy of some bladder-bloated fan.

Not as exciting as the first meeting this season, but it was a great win still.

Magic win in fighting fashion against one of their rivals and Miami did too.

What was the Packers thinking?

5 minutes left. You need a TD to take the lead in the game, 3 and 8, super long deep throw into double coverage and then try to kick a 51 yard field goal that's meaningless.

What's the point. You still have stop the Vikings from scoring.

In these tough economic times (big cliche there...ta-ta-ding!), I've been trying to get the most out of my dollar and Sunday Ticket, so I've actually strung a 50-foot coaxial cable from the bedroom to the living room (tried a splitter and it didn't work on the receiver - plus I don't have to move the receiver). So every Sunday that I stay in, I'm watching 2 games at once. My wife picks one and I pick the other.

So of course we end up watching St. Louis/Detroit (her pick) with Balt/Den on the other TV. I've only got 3 opinions on those 2 games, and one of them has to do with the Patriots:

1) Culpepper needs to be in the game and Stafford on the bench watching and learning. I've seen rookie QB's like Peyton thrown to the dogs and take their lumps, but I honestly don't see how Stafford is learning anything with the way they operate.

2) I swear to God if New England pulls something out of their a$$ and lands Steven Jackson next season, I'm going to fly up to Foxborough, drink four kegs of Sam Adams, and piss so hard on Gillette Stadium, it will flood Bellichick's office and cancel their home games. I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this. I just do.

3) The more I watch Baltimore (and I watch them every week), I can't help but think that I've never seen a fan base or team think they should be given something because they "try hard." I've also never seen a team or fan base think that they are not only the only team that tries hard, but that no other team in the league exists. If you follow any of their press conferences, gameday atmosphere, and player temper tantrums, you'd know what I was talking about.

The two 4PM games I watched were Favre Bowl II and Panthers/Cardinals. What happened in the Favre Bowl was about what I thought would happen. Meanwhile, it was nice to see Delhomme and the Panthers get a little bit of revenge, albeit their season's pretty much over, but still revenge to a minor degree nonetheless. 5 INT's seems to be the popular theme when those 2 meet.

About the Vikings.

All talk is about Favre, but I think Harvin is making more of an impact than Favre. Whenever I see the team go down a TD, Harvin usually runs one back or runs a kickoff to the opposing 30 or something like that.

Not just Favre, but Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson, too. Still, Harvin and Rice aren't getting enough props. Don't worry, they will by season's end.

Funny, even though they banned "the wedge," I'm seeing some monster returns this year by lots of teams. Special team coaches are earning their pay this year...from the return aspect of it. Now on coverage, not so much.

It still all starts with Peterson there. Having him makes the pass game much easier on Favre. I am happy for Rice though, I always thought he could be a great WR and a lot of people doubted him but turns out it was only because no one in Minn could throw the ball worth a damn. Harvin has been pretty spectacular also, knew he would make a big impact on special teams but he has exceeded my expectations as a WR also.

Speaking of special teams.

For Dallas, they fired the guy last year because it wasn't very good and hired another guy. They had that collapsed roof at the practice facility and he was caught underneath. He had to have surgery, and it was lucky he can walk.

He's doing a fantastic job. If I'm not mistaken, the coverage unit hasn't let a huge run back, or even past the 50 yard line and most of the time, the returner only gets to the 20. It does help that they have a man-freak in Buehler as a kicker but still, utterly impressive.

It helps that Crayton has 2 return TD's and the punt coverage is excellent.

Thank God baseball is over with. Now I only have to sleep through NBA highlights to get to the good stuff on Sportscenter.

Holy shit, Dallas actually won.

That was probably the worst spotted ball I've ever seen in my life. McNabb CLEARLY got the first down before even looking at the replay, then it was challenged and they still got it wrong. Changed the whole game.

I wish I could've seen the end of it. It was 11:15 before they started the 4th quarter. I would've stayed up for it were my team not playing tonight.

Forum would be happy to know that after watching the 1st quarter of the Lions/Seahawks game yesterday, I correctly predicted the outcome. It was 17-0 Lions and I turned to my wife and said, "If they've watched enough Lions game film, Seattle has them right where they want them."
