heh yea, mannings WR do make it easier, but hes still great. And I mean his #3 is as good as some teams #1 so he does have plenty of help.

and Whirlysplatt

Im not sure if you were being serious or just a smartass.. so incase you were serious. We are talking about American Football..

Yeah, definitly.
But Brady's receievers arent swiss cheese. Branch is highly underrated, and Troy Brown, years before, was really good.
I dont know about this year though.
The Pats do have a great team, but they have some suspect problems coming into this season.
I know Belicheck is a great coach, but you dont just lose two of the best assisants on either side of the ball, and defense captain, and not have any problems. Chad Brown is not Bruschi.
Playoffs is a certain for them, but I think the Colts and Pats game will be different now.

they tried to get peerless price, but lost out to the cowboys.

Yeah. Its a good pick up for my cowboys, welll until I find out how much he's worth.
If its a small contract, then Price, Glenn and Johnson, with newcomer Crayton. It looks like the Cowboys have a pretty good offense.
Jones+Witten+WR's+good enough line, plus Bledsoe (just needs to be good, not great), they got a pretty good team.

he got 2 million, which I think hes worth. As a #3 or sometimes #2 hes definantly worth that. The Cowboys are looking good, unfortunatly the eagles still look better to me, and I really dont like the eagles lol

I think he got 1 mil but it will count 2 mil if he meets his bonuses.

They are looking good, but Eagles are probalby going to be better.
But they're WR position is looking grim and if Westbrook gets injured, they're ****ed.

well I know 500 grand was a signing bonus atleast. And with the Eagles I think Greg Lewis might suprise some people, but i was suprised that they were not in the hunt for Price.

I was too.

But they're must be more WR's on the market that they could pick up.
The top teams last year have glaring problems.

So I think it might the title might change hands.

Jerome Pathon was cut by seattle and wouldnt be a bad pickup.

I like Seattles WR much better this year with Engram, Jackson, Warrick, and Jurevicious.

And Rice is officialy done, as he did not want to be the #4 WR for Denver.

Looks like Hines is here to stay, thank God. And I'll continue thanking until 2009.

heh now he better perform, or im benching him for fitzgerald in my fantasy league.. he got auto picked onto my team and im pissed about it.

Have fun with Morgan from Dallas.
Your going to love his drop balls.
All through training camp he's saying he's doing well, but gets bumped from being the third WR because he drops atleast one pass each game.

Whats everyone think of the ChargerS? think last year was a fluke?

Also Im so excited about this season..I have a good feeling Bengals are gonna finally make it to the playoffs!! Not saying they are gonna go deep necessarily, but hey itll be nice if they just make it.

Yes, I know. I always thought he was the lesser of the three when it was Johnson, him, and Northcutt in Brown Town.

I dont think it was a fluke, but I think their division is an interesting one. All 4 teams are actually decent teams, and I dont think the Chargers have a lock on it by any means. We will see thursday if the Raiders are improved enough to contend. I wouldnt be shocked at any of the 4 winning it though.

I think Raiders defense will hurt them in the long run.
Chargers I think have the most complete out of the division with a solid offense and a solid defense.
Denver, not so much. Too much is riding on Tatum Bell.
and
Chiefs, well I think this year they might fall. Their defense is improved on paper, but Knight is pretty bad and Bell always get injured. Surtain might make a difference but I dont think so. If everything works out for them, they will win the division, but everything is riding if people are healthy.

I get the feeling Ben Roethlisberger is headed for a sophmore slump, anyone else get that feeling?

Here is how I think each team will place in its division...

AFC North - Bengals, Ravens, Steelers (if Ben has his slump like I think he will, otherwise Steelers will win Division) , Browns
AFC South - Colts, Jaguars (Wild Card), Titans, Texans
AFC East - Patriots , Bills (Wild Card), Jets, Dolphins
AFC West - Chargers, Broncos, Chiefs , Raiders

NFC North - Vikings, Lions, Packers, Bears
NFC South - Panthers, Falcons(Wild Card), Buccaneers, Saints
NFC East - Cowboys , Eagles (Wild Card) , Redskins, Giants
NFC West - Seahawks, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers.

AFC Championship Game Colts vs. Bengals (Surprise of the year) . Winner - Colts
NFC Championship Game Seahawks VS. Panthers
Winner - Panthers

SuperBowl 40 Colts Vs. Panthers
Winner Colts

Alright, Smasandian, this one's from Quincy Morgan for the Dallas fans, haha:

"I've got to get in this playbook - it's one of the hardest offenses I've ever seen," Morgan said Wednesday. "There's a lot of memorization, a lot of hot breaks you've got to learn. I could sit here and tell you about it all day. In Dallas, it was so easy."

Is it the hardest?

It doesnt matter if its easy or not. It all depends on how the coaches apply themselves during the coarse of the game.
I think its ridicoulous that some teams have 300 plays (even though the WR doing a square in instead of an square out, is a new play), and snap counts that go into 10 words or something.

And really?
I think a system that doesnt allow to memorize something and instead have some other way in it, is much better.

Yeah, the Steeler's offense is extremely complicated:

run
run
pass

run
run
pass

run
run
pass
