Yea I like seeing NE get stomped, but I want them to win for the sake of the Colts. Out of everyone left in the AFC I would most like to see Manning get back to the superbowl. If the Ravens win, the colts have to play them instead of the Jets and that would be a way harder game. Also the Chargers would have a harder time with NE than the Jets and are the biggest roadblock for Manning. Therefore NE winning today is key for Manning lol.

Interesting weekend.

Are we seeing a new group of teams coming up?

The Eagles/Pats have been doing it for years and both of them got destroyed.

In the NFC, the Cowboys/Vikings matchup determines which team will make the Superbowl. I'm afraid of both the Cardinals and Saints offenses but they're defense is porous.

As for the Vikings/Cowboys, both have great offense/defense games so it will be interesting.

As for the AFC, I have no clue. I'm not too sure about the Colts. Last two games being worthless has never helped them ever. Facing against the Ravens who can matchup with them well, and the Chargers are going to beat them if they meet up. It's pre determined.

The Cowboys barely beat a banged up Saints team and the Cardinals destroyed the Vikings. So I am not sure how you came to that conclusion.

It's going to be a different story now that the Saints have a healthy offense and a healthy defense.

I came to that conclusing because I feel that the Cowboys are playing the best right now. They have the offense to compete with teams and the defense to compete with teams.

Same with Vikings. I'm sorry about the Cardinals, but you don't give up 40 something points.

As for the Saints, I feel they're in the same league. They're beat up but every team has injuries (except for the Cowboys for some odd reason), so its not really a good point to say that the Saints lost because they have injure players. (even though they lost after that also, including against crappy teams. Also, you can easily run on the Saints and I think they're defense is highly overrated. They can't stop a team from scoring when they need too. There the second version of the Colts.

But of course, I'll probably be wrong but that's what I think.

(you might want to read after that quote, where I said there defense is porous......, you know, the part you took out when you quoted me)

I did, that's why I said it's going to be different now that the Saints have a healthy defense(minus Charles Grant). Saints didn't have those problems on defense when they were healthy. Teams started running on them when their linebackers/Sedrick Ellis got injured and teams started passing on them when Jabari Greer and Tracy Porter got injured. That's their #1 and #2 corners.

Their offense didn't start struggling until Jeremy Shockey got injured.

I am not using those injuries as an excuse for their losses. But I am saying that they will undoubtedly play better now that those guys are back. They're going to have all those guys back for the playoffs. So it's definitely going to be a different story.

Maybe they will but even before the injuries, I still think the defense wasn't great.

was 2-2 on WC games...
Colts > Ravens
Chargers > Jets
Cardinals > Saints
Cowboys > Vikings

The Playoffs are brought to you by the letter C! Sorry bad joke...

Carson Palmer = Average starting QB
Chad Ochocinco = Average #1 WR
Marvin Lewis = Average Coach
Cincy fans = Way below Average

If the above stay status quo, this team will not be back in the postseason next year.

Up yours.. 😛

Ochocinco = Lost a step, On the Decline. Definitely need to make a move here....how I envy the Cardinals 🙂. Ocho is a glorified Slot reciever...Which is all the bengals have atm. Thank god we drafted Jerome Simpson over Desean Jackson 2 years ago 🙄 (We're the Bengals lets be cute! Remember Chris Perry over Steven Jackson? lol...)

Palmer = injury prone QB. When hes off, man is he off. Still I think he is a notch above average. He doesn't have the best Reciever Corps or a great pass blocking line, And he put up decent numbers when he was able to. I think the problem is , Bratkowski just calls such a predictable game...

Marvin Lewis = has to work with Mike Brown. Mike Brown makes even the best Head Coach Average. Still he does make bone headed decisions on his own....but the players seem to like him. Personally I think Bratkowski needs to go. Not like you can get much better than ML. Plus he hasn't done a horrible job based on the Bengals output before he got there. He just can't seem to get this team ready for the Big games...

Luckily we have a good young Defense and Running Game, which always gives you a chance to win. I like the way things are going personally.

The way they played against the Packers showed me the Cardinals mean business! The Saints haven't played too well recently. Its an upset pick , but I think it's gonna happen.
If I wasn't a homer I would've been 3/4 lol but I had to delusionally go with my Bengals...hehe

The Saints have been lacking on defense recently because of injured players. Now, their D is back to being healthy (not that they were that great to begin with, but a hell of a lot better then the last few games of the season).

Also, the Cardinals gave up 45 points last night. They're obviously lackluster defensively. And when you put them up against one of the best offenses in the league... it spells disaster for the Cards.

I don't buy into this whole "Eagles will be tough next week" business. I'm not a Cowboys fan but I do hope they whoop their ass AGAIN for such a terrible performance today.

For next week I'm giving it to Brady and company base on his playoff experience. I'm also confident on the Chargers and very much hope they remain dominant....time will tell.

Hey, not bad after all. Got half right with the Cowboys.

Too bad with the Pats...glad so eagles fly down.

Hoping the Colts go down. I'm sick of Peyton.

They gave up 45 points, but scored 51 on the #2 defense in the whole league. 🙂

I think The Cardinals Offense is clicking more than the Saints will be next week. The Saints are a great offense, but they haven't shown me anything lately to suggest they can win. Its just my opinion though.

Oh, the defense was great this year. Peko has really improved over recent years, when his hair used to just get sucked in by the O-line. And Joseph is an excellent DB, not to mention Leon Hall, who got schooled as a rookie a few years back. Hall is much better.

I just don't think some of the Cincy fans have the right mindset that is required to be a dominant fan base in the NFL. They sell their tickets to Steelers fans when the Bengals are struggling, and then they boo their team from HALFTIME ON in a critical playoff game where against a rookie QB, they were never more than 2 scores out of it. Not exactly the biggest confidence builder.

Yeah I agree, I love the Defense being good. The organization took a huge stride foward . They changed their whole approach to the game and look what it has done! If they can retain Zimmer, I belive it's only going to get better. Our Defense is still relatively young.
I really hope we can land a Safety in the draft. I would love to have a Polamalu or Reed type leader back there. They really do change how a defense plays.

As far as the fans, Yeah you are right, the majority of fans here are annoying assholes. They are crybabies who just ***** and moan about everything.

I mean I do let my emotions get the better of me, but I have never booed them at a game, or threw crap on the field like some of the idiots you have here do. I do yell at my TV though , but who doesn't? lol

Goodbye Pete!

Never was a Trojan fan but glad to see what he did for them.

Speaking of booing?

I heard Pats fans were booing the team. Understandable, they played awful but seriously, what the **** do you want? You had a team that won 3 SB's this decade....shut the **** up.

It's like the Colts fans booing Manning.

Damn was just reading about how Seattle reached out to Tony Dungy to try to bring him in as team president and sorta oversee the entire shabang ala Parcels in Miami. Now this I would have been excited about.
