But even then, if it comes down to one play , then you really can't complain. Shit happens. Put em away earlier so you do not have to worry about crap like that 🙂

That is my stance exactly.

For me, the worst are fans who watch their team give up a 98-yard drive, and then b!tch about someone's pinky finger being over the goal line. Hello? Your opponent just gained 98 yards on you in three minutes, and now you want redemption? Face it, you suck!

Why the hell didn't the GB coach challenge the play?

You can't challenge a penalty.

You also can not challenge in OT.

Do I think it was a pretty blatant facemask? Sure do. But it was after the fumble (that was kicked into an INT) which was Rodgers fault. Had he not done that it would not of mattered (or had he not missed the easiest throw of his life for an 80yard TD on the 1st play). It sucks to have a great game end with a bit of a blown call, but it was GB's own screw up that cost them on that play, the non-call simply could have given them a second chance. The only thing that bothers me about it is that Brady gets a pinky touching his helmet from a defender and flags fly. The NFL is starting to be like the NBA where certain players get 3 steps instead of 2 on a travel, get fouled if someone breathes on them, and cant commit a foul of their own.

Yeah, I think it was Warner who got a hand on his helmet and was marked for personal foul while Rodgers gets facemasked and it was not called.

I think that's whats most annoying about it.

I just watched the replay. It's a blatant facemask and even though it was after the fact, it doesn't matter, the TD shouldn't of counted.

lol warner makes a bad decision and gets bailed out because a hand touched his helmet.

So I guess:
Hand touching helmet = flag
Hand holding onto helmet to use to tackle = no call

I did not know that. 😮

Warner is out. Leinart in. Now I am torn.

Looks like the Saints have the game in the bag though. Reggie is having a monster game.

I can't believe they didn't call that.

It's a face mask penalty. They always call it, especially against at QB. Even worse was that the ref was looking right at them. (according to the replay).

A non call holding penalty I can understand but that was brutal. Oh well, they would of lost anyways.

Warner is now back. 😠

Stupid Cards getting my hopes up.

Both games went the way i thought

Well so far I like the direction Seattle/Carroll are going. They seem to be giving him control and getting out of his way. (ala the opposite of dan snyder) Even letting him have final say on the GM. It can't be any worse than the last couple of seasons have been so letting him do a total makeover his way has nothing to lose.

"Carroll is also assembling his staff, which will use the same principles and play terminology he used at USC."

"Gibbs confirmed to KRIV-TV in Houston he has agreed to leave his job as the assistant head coach of the Houston Texans to join Carroll on the Seahawks' staff. Gibbs will be in charge of the zone run-blocking scheme upon which Carroll wants to base his Seahawks offense."

He is also bringing in USC offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates, USC linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr., and USC offensive line coach Pat Ruel.

Of course I have already heard the rumors that he is trying hard to bring in Matt Leinart to take over from Hasselbeck but I am sure that is BS. Warner is done either this year or next no way Arizona would give up Leinart especially to someone in the division. Carroll also has already stated that he has no plans to make a change at QB (but of course that could change).

How would you feel if he brought in Leinart?

I'm sure you want to draft a franchise QB with one of your two 1st round picks. Maybe Clausen, Bradford or McCoy?

They gave up 45 points, but scored 51 on the #2 defense in the whole league. 🙂

I think The Cardinals Offense is clicking more than the Saints will be next week. The Saints are a great offense, but they haven't shown me anything lately to suggest they can win. Its just my opinion though.

🙂

Actually I am not that interested in taking a QB in the 1st round this year. We need to fix our lines first. Right now the O-Line cant protect anyone and the D-Line cant put any pressure on anyone.

I am hoping Russell Okung will be there at #6, I wouldn't hate Clausen at #6 but I don't imagine he will be there. I would prefer though to address the other needs this year and maybe try to get Jake Locker in the next draft. Or take a guy like Max Hall in round 5ish.

I would be ok with bringing in Leinart but not if it meant giving up a 1st rounder. I liked him coming out of college the only issue I have seen with him seems to be his attitude and how much he actually cares about football vs just being a celebrity. Regardless I see no way it happens.

Man, why doesn't coaches learn. 4th and 1 and it's a close game, go for it instead of kicking a 48 yarder.... ahhhhh, especially when your team is running at will (or half will) against the defense, and you have 3 awesome backs. (and a very reliable catching TE)

Well, Dallas had it. They just ****ed up.

jerry jones will fire wade phillips shortly 😂 😂 😆 😆 😆

Vikings/Saints can't wait

Yeah I know.I could not believe that stupid mistake by Phillips. That kinda set the tone for the game and the outcome.your on the road and its the playoffs,go for it.especially since they were moving the ball on them well at that point. 🙄

Yeah, after the third fumble, I stopped watching. I knew what was going to happen.

Either the Vikings are really good or the Eagles really suck. I have no clue why the Cowboys sucked so much.

Since they cured their bad habits of playing poorly in december and finally winning a playoff game,I think THAT will save Phillips job and he will be brought back next year.Next year though,if they dont take the next step and win a playoff game on the road or dont even make the playoffs,Jones will fire him then. 😆

Looks like both the Vikes and the Saints have put ther late season problems on the field behind them and are back to looking like the teams that started off strong at the beginning of the season again.

That bye week obviously helped them both and was much needed.Gave them time to recuperate and get healthy and time to sit back and run through their minds everything they were doing wrong toward the end of the year and correct those mistakes.

For The Saints especially, they got away from being aggresive. Not taking chances taking their shots down the field and being conservative and they did not get any turnovers those 3 last games of the season like they were as well. Now their back to creating havoc and turnovers again.

With The Vikings, home field advantage means everything for them.Their a much different team on the road than they are at home. They go out and beat up on the Giants at home but get kicked around by the Bears in Chicago, a far inferiour opponent. That 12th man has been very instrumental for them in getting to the NFC championship. It was a factor for the Saints as well against the Cardinals

Since home field advantage has been a huge factor for all teams in the NFC,gotta believe that the 12th man will come in huge again for the saints against the Vikes.

Now gotta go watch my favorite team the Chargers play now.I so hope this is their year.I would think being at home against the Jets today, that they will win by at leats a couple of touchdowns.its the Colts game in Indy where my boys will have their work cut out for them. Although Peyton Manning didnt look all that sharp against the Ravens which at this time of the year has to be worrisome to Colts fans.If he plays like that against my chargers, then that gives the chargers and excellent chance.Hopefully he continues to struggle.
