Alex Smith did well this year didn't he?

As for Carroll, yeah, he will have control but that could also be a bad thing. Not a lot of coaches can do the whole total control thing. We'll see how it pans out.

Well there will be a separate GM, but he has some say in who it will be.

And yea Smith did well my point was just that so many people had written him off as a failure already but he never really had a fair shot because of constant coaching/scheme changes.

Ahh, so he has like 75% control.

I understand your point about Smith and I agree with it.

Who does everyone wanna see win the Super Bowl?

I am in favor of The New Orlean Saints.

The Colts.

I want to see Manning get another SB. After that, there is no way somebody can say he is overrated.

I got the Saints as well.

I'm kind of torn between this one, which is a good thing for me. I always root for the AFC, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints winning as well.

Actually, these are probably the 2 best teams playing where I wouldn't mind either of them winning. Maybe NO/HOU would be better, but this is close.

Colts for me, I just find it hard to not like Manning.

Kurt Warner retires....great memories...

I can finally stop wishing that he'd get injured.

The Leinart Era begins. 🙂

Who is that in your avatar WickedDynamite?

Flower Tucci.

Hoping for The Saints all the way obviously.I dont think they will win it though. If they struggled at HOME against the vikes when they had home field advantage, just dont see them being able to do anything against the colts on a neatural field especially since the jets who had the number one ranked defense in the league, could put no pressure on Manning whatsoever.

yeah I let out a loud yahoo when I heard about Warner retiring. Now I can relax on the Cardinals making it back to the superbowl for the next sveral years at least. 💃

Way to go Vince Young!

6/12, 47yards, INT, 25.3 rating.

Twas hilarious watching him come out there and utterly disrupt the flow on offense the AFC had. He could not have played any worse.

I knew something like that would happen thats why I did not watch it.Why watch it if they wont allow the people that belong in it like Manning and Bree's play?

That being said,I sure hope my Chargers wise up and get rid of Nate Keating in the off season. That guy is such a choker in the playoffs missing two field goals inside the 40.one a 40 yarder the other a 36 yarder 😠 The Saints kicker didn't miss his 40 yard kick when HE was under pressure and he only had ONE chance.

He is like the former kicker the Colts used to have Mike Vanderjact I think was his name.Always would make a high percentage of his kicks during the regular season but always choked in the playoffs when he had to make that clutch kick. The colts eventually got smart and realised if they ever wanted to make the superbowl, they would never get there with Vanderjact.Hope the chargers wise up as well.

It is scary. Between our mutual disdain for Young and Carroll coming to Seattle we might actually start agreeing more.
