Thank you Saints! Nothing is more satisfying than to see Manning lose.

Congrats on your great victory...your team...your fans...and your city deserve it!

Year long Mardi Gras.

LAISSEZ LES BONS TEMPS ROULER! 😄

amen to that.Hooray. 💃 Nothing more satisfying than seeing Manning lose. The way they could not get pressure on Manning for the entire game,I never thought they would have a prayer of winning this cause they put no pressure on him whatsoever throughout the entire game.

I figured they would have to knock him around and make him eat the turf many times like they were able to do with Brett Favre to win this game. They never knocked him to the ground except once towards the end which was very much neccessary because it was a couple plays later after that, when he threw that costly interception. It had to be in the back of his mind that since he got knocked down shortly just before that, that he hurried the throw quicker than he wanted to.

Just think,if not for Favre making that bad decision to throw his costly interception late in that game against the saints,to just run with it and pick up some extra yards, the saints more than likely dont even go to the superbowl since Ryan Longwell is a good clutch kicker unlike the stupid kicker Im stuck with in Nate Kaeding with the Chargers.again thank you Brett.you made it possible for my Saints to win it all.yahoo. 💃

there wasnt a more deserving city than New Orleans that deserved this. Also great to see Drew Brees a former Charger, make it possible for them to carry home the superbowl trophy.Next best thing to happen for me other than The Chargers winning it all. 💃

and thank You Sean Peyton for being aggressive.playing to win.Even when they failed to get into the end zone towards the end of the first half,I wasnt mad at him then.I was saying to myself -well it was the right call. You need to take chances. Its the superbowl.you got to play to win.Thats why Wade Phillips will never take the cowgirls to the superbowl and will eventually lose his job is because HE is afraid to take chances like that.

i lol'd

someone just e-mailed me this:

Hahah, that's funny.

I'm wondering why the loss has brought back the "Manning is a choker" argument. What the ****? He isn't god. It's bullshit. I guess making the playoffs every year for 3/4 of the decade, 1 SB ring, the most wins in the decade and how many game winning/stalling drives in the past 10 years and it all it takes is one ****ing INT on a slant pass.

I don't get it. I didn't watch the game but I saw the replay and it looks like Wayne slipped or something. In the end, it happened but the ****er doesn't have to prove anything. He won a SB and that's it. He still is the best QB in the game.

Yea its stupid when with a win and hes the best ever but a loss makes him a failure.

Yea on the pick Wayne slipped a bit, the guy jumped it and even some top WR's have said it was as much on Wayne as Manning. Either way 1 INT does not make or break a career.

If he never won a SB then I can see it a bit.

But some people last week were calling Manning a sure thing clutch QB and now he's a choke artist. I guess they missed out on 5 years of career where he made a habit of coming back and winning.

And next year or the year after that when goes back to the SB and wins it then everything will ass backwards.

I don't care what the media says. For 9 of the last 10 years, Manning's the one single opposing QB that scares the sh!t out of me whenever the Steelers face them. That one exception being Brady in 2007 with his immortal arsenal around him.

To this day, one of the biggest surprises ever was when the Steelers shut Manning down on MNF in October 2002. I've rewatched the game a few times and it still awes me how it took a masterful defensive effort by the Steelers to pull that off. And don't even get me started on what it took to do the same in the 2005 Divisional Playoffs.

Just watched the highlights, what an odd game. What does all this "1st and 10" or "2nd and 4" mean? And why did they get 2 extra points for doing another try?

One set of rules that I always thought foreigners would just be completely baffled over were the pass interference/illegal contact rules.

Step back from what we know for a second and think about it. If I had just been introduced to football, I would already think it was tough to defend a scripted pass play in which 3 or 4 receivers are coming into my territory (defensive side of LOS). And now you're telling me the receiver has absolute free will to run in MY ZONE wherever he wants and I can't even touch the guy? And if he happens to run into me, they're going to call a penalty on ME because of the way my head is turned?

Yea between the way flags get thrown on DB's and the rules protecting the QB defenses start at a huge disadvantage. That is why pass rush is most important because it is just not possible to keep multiple WR's covered effectively for very long.

Yeah as much as I hate Manning I cant believe how some people are now calling him the choker in big games cause of one bad interception thrown.I cant recall how many times I tuned in on a monday night game to watch the colts play and the game seemed out of reach with just two minutes to play and the other team up by two touchdowns and Manning brought them back to win.Even in those last 3 minutes of that game, even though I felt confident The Saints would win because of their play in the second half,I wasnt relaxed with Manning still out there able to play.Brees said he wasnt either.

wow I knew you didnt like american football but I had no idea you knew nothing about it. 😱 and as for the non conspiracy stuff, the mod there plays favorites letting disinformation agent Jaden post all kinds of lies and defends him and lets him get away with all kinds of crap there and banned winter cause he did not want to hear the truth there so I've had it with that place.found a better place for that where the mods dont play favorites.

Yeah.

Last week, the guy was "considered one of the best QB's to ever play the game" and now he's merely OK. A stat hound.

I ****ing hate sports journalists sometimes.

TMQ is turning into one of the worst. Last week, he was praising how well the Colts play and that they are very predictable but they do it extremely well so its a good thing. This week, he commented how the Colts should of done something different. Of course they should of.

Or how Manning had a horrible game because of the INT, and he missed a few wide open receivers and called the wrong plays. Of course he did, thanks for coming out and pointing out in retrospect.

I also starting to hate how this QB is better than this QB because he won one more Superbowl. I guess the team doesn't matter when it comes down to that. Sure Big Ben won 2 SB's and he played well in them but does he win a SB if Harrison doesn't have the crazy INT for a TD?

Or does Bree's win a SB if Porter doesn't pick off Manning.

Last but not least, I feel bad for Saints fans because it seems journalists are writing on how Manning choked and not that Brees and co. played extremely well.

yeah thats too bad.true enough,I doubt that Big Ben wins the superbowl if Harrison doesn't have that crazy interception for a touchdown and actually Ben didnt play well at all in the first superbowl against the Seahawks,he was horrible remember? He was just carried by the defense and special teams.

You also got to wonder if the Saints would have won that game if Jim Caldwell wasnt stupid enough to try for a 51 yard field goal like he did with an aging kicker cause anything outside of 50 yards is iffy even with a great clutch field goal kicker like Adam Vinitari which btw,do you have any idea WHY he isnt number one on the depth chart on that team when he is probably the best clutch kicker to ever play the game?

That gave Brees a very short field to work with in getting that touchdown and kept their momentum on their side.punt the ball and make the guy earn the yards is what I say if I'm a colts fan. It wasnt like one of Sean Peytons agressive calls that did not work out but it was still the right call when he went for the touchdown at the goal line at the end of the first half.

Do you agree with what I said earlier, that Wade Phillips has no business being the head coach of the cowboys since unlike Sean Peyton,he doesnt play to win the game and wont take chances in the playoffs? No way would Peyton have not gone for it on forth and one in the game against the vikes when they were moving the ball well against them down the field.

oh and you guys were right on what you said earlier that it was just as much Waynes fault as it was Mannings that he threw that interception. The ESPN announcers were saying the same thing that it was Waynes fault as well because he slipped.the sportswriter here in kansas city is bagging on Manning as well.his name is Jason Whitlock but I call him Jason Shitlock cause he is an idiot. This idiot once said the chiefs offense would be better with steve bonehead at QB instead of joe montana. 😆 Boneheads quarterback play of course ended up costing the chiefs a victory against the colts in 95 despite that they only gave up 10 points. 😆

Oh Jason Whitlock. He just hates Manning. He had a field day with the INT.

My favorite thing from him was the year after the Colts won the SB. They played the Saints on Thursday night and he was going on saying that the Colts are going to lose badly and they won't make the playoffs.

The Colts destroyed them. I remember the first play from scrimmage for the Colts was a 70 yard TD pass to Wayne.

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life.

Read at your own risk. May cause you to lose points off your IQ.

Yea I see no problem with what the Saints did. I think I would be ok with a rule that states on the opening kick off and the 2nd half kick off you have to kick it deep though.

Yeah, I didn't even think about it.

And it's not dirty. If they made a rule stating that they have to kick off to the team then I'm fine with it because it would make sense.

But it's not the rule. So can't really see that.
