The Browns are likely to start rookie Colt McCoy against the Steelers next week.

If this is true, I'm not sure what the reasoning could possibly be behind it. While average yet VETERAN QB's such as Kerry Collins and Bruce Gradkowski have carved up LeBeau's defense in the past, I can't recall a rookie QB ever doing anything against it besides getting throttled beyond comprehension.

Well, it is Jake Delhomme.

expect Favre to do just that tonight. 😄 against that jets defense? thats a given. I will really be dancing WHEN The Jets win tonight. I know I am probably in the minority here but I hate Favre.Last year was the first time I ever recall myself rooting for the cowboys to beat the vikings in the playoffs.

I get sick of that lying two face with that crap of lying saying that he is going to retire this year and then always comes back and plays again. That shit gets old real quick.I so much loved it that HE was the one that cost them the chance to go to the superbowl last year by throwing that boneheaded interception instead of running for the first down to give them the chance to kick the winning field goal at the end of regulation against the saints. 😆 💃 💃 I was dancing then. I dont like Kurt Warner either but i can at LEAST respect him.He doesnt go around lying saying he is going to retire and then come back and play the next year.at least he gave the cardinals plenty of time to plan ahead without him.

I will dance so proudly tonight when the jets beat the vikings. The vikings dont have a chance in this game since it will be played in new york.that will be so funny to see the cowboys and vikings BOTH at 1-3. 😆 is os much laughed last night over the cowboys awful start, will laugh even harder when the vikings lose tonight.they might make it close but they will lose.they also are not the same team from last year either along with the cowboys and saints.

oh and forum, dont expect me to read your usual drivel.I know you love favre and cant stand to hear him badmouthed.

are you still dancing..

yeah who would've thought that both the vikes and cowboys would be struggling at this point

If Seneca Wallace were healthy, he'd definitely be the starter, but both he and Jake Delhomme are injured with ankle sprains, and will need a couple weeks to recover. So now Colt McCoy is gonna be getting a "crash course" so to speak in the pro game.

Who knows what'll happen, but coming from a Browns fan (and most of the Browns Backer community) we aren't expecting him to carve Dick LeBeau's defense up at all. We'll be happy with just a "meh" game from McCoy, and that he's still healthy after the game (since both of our veteran options are now injured until after the BYE week)

Oh yeah.I was dancing the night away last night. 💃 😆 The cowboys slow start is a shocker to me,I knew they were over rated and not a team capable of going to the superbowl, their not that good. But I figured them to at least be a wild card team in the playoffs with a record around 10 and 6 though, it doesnt surprise me one bit at all that The Vikings have got off to their start.

It would have been foolish to think they would go undefeated at home again this year.Teams were going to be shooting for them a lot harder this year than last year and losing Rice was a major blow to them.Plus it would have been ignorant to think Favre would have had the same great year again this year like he did last year. There was NEVER a doubt in my mind he would have some kind of costly turnover in that game that would cost them the game just like I said he would last night. remember? 😆

He did it last year in the closing seconds against the Saints,he did it again last night just like I called it. 😆 He's too predictable. He still amazingly has the arm strength to throw the ball deep down the field accurately, but he is not MENTALLY sound as a quarterback anymore.as we just saw last night,he makes a lot of boneheaded decisions and thats what separates him from being in the same breath as Tom Brady and Joe Montana as a quarterback who could take their teams to many superbowls and win them. Those two never made boneheaded decisons to hurt their team in major games.

The Cowboys and Saints starts surprise me major big time, but not the Vikings with Favre.Once they get Rice back, they could get on a roll with Rice AND Moss playing together. But like i said,I never expected the vikings to be a strong contender for the superbowl this year.I knew they would not go undefeated at home again.Plus I think the bears and packers are better this year. so on the road,I figured they would cause them problems and still do.

yep i do remember 😄

Me personally, I am taking a break from all things Cowboys and Vikings. I will be watching other games, including Rams & Jaguars games if I have to, over them. Those 2 teams give me a headache. Maybe in December I will pick them back up.

Don't remind me...

Honestly though, if the Vikings Offence play as good as they did in the second half for the rest of the year, they will go far.

true but they wont.Farve is too inconsistant to keep that up for an ENTIRE game week after week.hs age has finally caught up with him in the fact that he is making boneheaded plays like that one and the ones committed in the jets game and the fact for the first time in his career,he appears to be seriously hurt.

after this week,I probably will as well. This week there will be a lot of talk about these two teams and their problems.there already is with sports announcers asking viewers the question-which one of these two teams is in more trouble? after this week,I will just focus on my chargers.

I cant believe how their special teams have been so horrible this year on the road. "scracthes head." Man they sure as hell better turn it around this week against the rams,I so much hate them.they used to be my favorite team till they moved away from LA.thats how i became a chargers fan.I hate teams that move away to another city.

Im a california guy and the chargers colors are similiar to he rams, especially when they wore the yellow so since they were always my second favorite team, they are my first now. They better have worked out thier special teams problems on the road by sunday dammit 😠 losing to the LA RAMS,I refuse to call them anything else, would be major depressor for me.could happen though, who would have ever thought the saints even as bad as they are this year, woud lose to the st louis cardinals? 😱

why exactly is a.j. smith getting rid of merriman

same with vincent jackson, why doesn't he wanna pay him

Vincent Jackson was told by the NFLPA to report to the Chargers so he gets this year counted towards unrestricted free agency. And Merriman is being released because he's playing like absolute shit. He's only had 4 sacks in the last 3 years. Nuff said.

I remember that draft and the Cowboys took Ware instead of Merriman. Good decision.

yeah Merriman is always getting hurt and playing like shit so I agree with him for getting rid of him unlike the idiots decision to get rid of Tomlinson which I KNEW would come back to bite them.I have a hard time believeing they will be able to turn things around this year again like in the last few years they did with Turner because Tomlinson was a big part of their leadership and getting players to rally and not quit on the season when they got off to bad starts.

cant wait for tomorrows game between the cowgirls and the vikings.Either way I will be a happy camper when the game is over. One of these teams will be one and four making me a happy camper. 💃 More than likely it will be the cowgirls losing except the game will be closer that last years playoff game since Favre will be playing hurt.

Lol. To be honest. If the Ravens aren't playing I'm not even widely interested in the games anymore. I'll probably end up watching hockey instead.

are the ravens off tomorrow?

No sir, they play the Pats. Which I'm hoping will be a good game.
