Isn't this celebration rule after a TD is getting ****ing ridiculous.
First penalty in the Titans - Cowboys game was Marc Colombo and Jason Witten bump into each other like everybody else in the league and Colombo falls down and gets flagged for it. A fat ass falling on the ground gets a flag....
Second penalty in the Vikings - Cowboys was Roy Williams and Sam Hurd doing the Texas Longhorn hand sign and that was the reason for the celebration flag.
Why isn't the excessive celebration flag not a judgement call like the biggest penalty in the game (Pass Interference). I understand the NFL does not want excessive celebrations but those two examples is ****ing stupid. It should be a judgment call.
I'm not saying Dallas deserves to win because they don't but it seems that ONE rule is retarded.
I love it.the cowgirls are 1-4 and going nowhere.Jones wont get to see his team play in the superbowl and Phillips is on an even much shorter leash than he was last week.It will be a miracle if he lasts the entire season without getting fired. 😂
on a side note,my chargers really suck this year.while true they always got off to a slow start but finished strong at the end of the year to make it to the playoffs since Turner has been here, something is missing this year. Those teams never stunk it up on the road like this years squad is doing.road games were nothing to them.
Im thinking that with the loss of L.T,Jackson, and other players the Chargers no longer have anymore, they got some new players such as mathews that have the mindset of getting scared when they play on the road.thats the only theory that makes any sense.why else is this team so vastly different and flat this year when playing on the road now.makes no sense unless thats the reason. If you cant even beat the LOS ANGELES Rams on the road, then you cant beat anybody.
well since my Chargers are going nowhere this year, might as well cheer on The Jets since I guess right now they are my second favorite team since they have L.T. would like to see another former Charger make it to the superbowl like Brees was able to last year.
Can't wait for the playoffs. By that I mean a 210-220 lb. Wide Receiver catching a pass across the middle and a defender, scared of getting suspended for the Super Bowl, pulling up at the last second and thus watching an 8-yard gain turn into a 70-yard TD.
"Hindsight Fans" will be having a field day with that scenario.

Are you commenting on the helmet to helmet hits?
Because you if you are then there is no reason for a defender to use his helmet to hit the other guy's helmet. What Harrison did is brutal. No reason for it.
He can easily tackle that guy regularly like the rest of defenders in the league. No reason for him to use his helmet and literally knock the guy out.
Harrisons tackle (1 of them) was terrible, as was the merriweather hit and I see no issue suspending players for that. The hit on Desean Jackson is the issue. That was a 100% clean hit and if they are going to fine/suspend for clean hits that are within the rules just because it was a hard hit the game is going to be ruined.
I'm under the idea that they're stopping helmet hits, not hard hits.
As for the Jackson hit, it's very, very close to a helmet hit, or it was a helmet hit consider both players were knocked out.
There was no reason for Robinson to launch himself when a perfect tackle would of made a hard impact anyways.
But for helmet hits, they should be suspended for that. No reason for it. Both Harrison hits were brutal. I played a bit of football and the coaches always said, "wrap up" but Harrison didn't even make an effort to wrap up the guy. He was a missle, leading with his head.
