He used nothing but Heat Vision and talking people to death. Thank god for the gorgeous art. No insane ring powers, no transmutation, no amping...etc. Hell, he talks to the manhunters instead of controlling them through tech.
For the long ass wait, I was expecting a hell of a battle.
SBP does look older... it kind of looks like he's had time to think and regret what he's done but who knows what card DC will pull with him... The guardians seemed more worried about Borg...I've never seen them want to personally go after someone to try and destroy them.

This week's issue is mostly about Lex Luthor's Infinity Inc.
Luthor's team hits the Vegas strip to duke it out with Blockbuster. After the battle, the current Teen Titans show up, and there is a bit of bickering between the two teams. Luthor secretly lets Blockbuster break free. Infinity Inc's speedster (the girl who told off Luthor a few issues back) goes after the villain, but while they fight Luthor secretly pushes a button and deactivates her meta-gene, resulting in her death.
At the funeral, Natasha acts like a jerk when Steel shows up. Some Teen Titans break up for some reason.
Ralph is touring the Netherplains with Fate's helmet.
Some mechanic in Australia has Red Tornado's head and built him a makeshift robotic body.
The 'next week' scenes show Luthor & Supernova (a poster of Supernova has an 'S' shield painted over the chest), Dr. Magnus & Mercury, and some hairy horned creature with no mouth.
No 'Secret Origins' backup story this week.
