Damn. I'm not as interested in the Marvel family as I am with Supernova, but they're really slacking in that department....

I love your wording in that post. 😂

Did either of you notice that this week they changed the Secret Files section of the DC site, into "heros and villains" and inside is their bios from 52?

they've finally updated the bios at dccomic.com 😱

Week 24

**EGAD! HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!**

Lotsa stuff happens this week.

Green Arrow is running for mayor, but he still doesn't have much public support two months from the election date. He's called on his JLA comm by the new Firestorm (somehow unmerged from Cyborg), who offers Ollie membership in the 'New JLA'.

The New JLA has Firestorm, Super-Chief, Bulleteer, Firehawk, and Ambush Bug. Ollie thinks they're a bunch of fools, and hangs up.

J'onn carves out a bunch of statues in a mountain on Rhode Island for all the former members of the (real) Justice League. He's also been working undercover to dismantle the government group 'Checkmate', and gets the President to decommission it.

The Great Ten are mad at Black Adam for changing his coalition policy to one of peace, and accuse Isis of turning Adam into a puppet.

At the New JLA's public unveiling in Metropolis, they are attacked by a gaggle of pirates and robots. During the battle, a huge number of civilians powered by Luthor's metagene program stupidly jump in and start fighting like idiots. Firestorm spots Skeets in the sky, and Skeets says he opened a rift and brought all the bad guys here to lure 'someone' out of hiding. Skeets then starts shooting at everyone, and kills Super-Chief.

Super-Chief appears in the Native American afterlife and the Great Spirit chides him and takes away the Chief's magical stone. He then gives it to Ralph Dibny.

In the White House, the President refuses to reinstate Checkmate, even in light of the Metropolis disaster. The Ambassador then informs him that Checkmate is being reinstated under UN authority, with even greater power than before.

At Belle Reve Prison, Amanda Waller tells Atom Smasher that Black Adam's coalition is up to something sneaky. She then asks him who will 'go with him' on some sort of secret mission.

Next Week: Three panels that appear to be Ambush Bug dressed up as the Question, Isis, and Batwoman. (Yeah, you read that right).

Secret Origin: Booster Gold.

...Oh, and Ambush Bug breaks the fourth wall several times, and is FUNNY.

Yeah good issue, and I always enjoyed Ambush Bug's earlier apperances. His revealing of Clark as Superman is gold.

Poor Super Cheif 🙁

He only had one issue and he died 😛

Maybe people will start to stay dead, now lol. Cough*re-kill Jason Todd*cough.

Hey, I actually like Jason back (for some reason unknown even to me). Glad Super-Chief is gone though. I had hoped they'd get rid of him quickly

he was kind of an a hole anyway..poor ol grandad trying to tell him about his ancient family legacy and he was all rude and dismissive....good riddiance.. i was kinda scared tho cuz i thought it was gonna be that incukchuk! guy... dont get me wrong manitou is cool but it would have been a lame ass way to bring him back

Super Chief is an old character, very very old character. I was actually glad they brought him back, annoyed they sent him back into obscurity.

Well Ralph better pick a more suitable host then.

Damn it DC!!! 😠

they better not kill off the Question and do another of those past the mantles crap.

Yeah was annoyed with that, watch there be a catch and he lives or something to deal with "heaven" that Strange, Animal Man and Starfire apparently crossed through.

So I wonder why Skeets became evil

What Is 52 actually about?

Wow I am so confused. I guess I'll just have to pick up the Tradeback edition when it's all done. That'll be a lot of pages...
