Ryoto Machida, Heath Herring, & Rampage Jackson have signed with the UFC. Crocop is close to inking a deal, not confirmed though. Stoked to see some legit HW's in UFC division. Rampage will shake up the LHW division.
I'm gonna say Tim Sylvia shit his pants when he heard about CC possibly landing in UFC hell even heath herring. 😆

yea Herring is underrated for sure. he might not be the best in Pride (he doens't even make top 10 in his weight division) but he shouldn't have any problems in the UFC. he has great experience and has good wrestling and sambo skills. he really needs to work on his strikes though.

WOW!!!!!

Pride Shockwave 2006 was incredible. All the fights were great.

Best being Fedor Emelianenko vs Mark Hunt.

Spoiler:
I was surprised Mark Hunt not only did good standing, but his ground skills have improved immensley. Fedor almost lost twice!!! Mark got him in the keylock twice but fedor used his strenght to get out of it. Fedor finally got in side control and def. hunt via kimura round 1

Hunt can bang, he's from K1... His stand up is really good.

for his striking, he ranks top 3 imo

Won my 2nd fight last night by decision... Had him rocked a few times...I ran out of gas or else i might have KO'd him, but a wins a win. The dude was tough. It was an amatuer kickboxing fight...

I practice karate, wado ryu to be exact.

Regards, Yvonne

great to hear that 👆 where was the fight held?

Good stuff Jim Reaper.

Can we expect you to go pro in the future? Or are you not looking to make this a career?

It'd be awesome if we had a KMCer in like K-1.

Thx.
It was at a club called "Plush" in FL they have fights once a mth. Gonna fight there again in Aug. They put on a decent show for it being an amatuer event. Lights, big screen, music, decent sized crowds.
You'll never see me in K1, that's a long road. I'd actually like to do a MMA fight someday. My trainer fights King of the Cage, so it's feasible. I'm just doing it for fun, and to keep in shape.

i dont know if your trainer said this, but start off with kickboxing matches then work your way to MMA.

best of luck 👆

That's what i'm doing... Kickboxing is fun, and there's much less to worry about, as far as training goes. I like to bang, so...

I also know people who reverse the situation.Train first in BJJ.Do this for about 2 years. Then tranin in boxing/kick boxing. Then in full MMA for 6 months to a year. Then have your first fight.

Do tournements along the way in each respective art.Build up to the MMA.

I' m drunk guys.PM for the whole story.I"m wasted and it's not even seven.Gotta work at 940 2morrow.I mean 930.

Understood on the K-1 bit. Good luck still though.

What rules are they fighting under there?

3-2 min rounds. Regular kickboxing, International rules( kickboxing with low kicks,) & modified muay thai rules (clinch, and knees to the body.) I'll do it till it's not fun anymore and see where it goes.

Yay for Taekwondo - where abouts do you live?

Showed up for another amateur fight last night, but I couldn't get a match-up for some reason or another. It sucks... I've been training my butt off.

I have 1st degree blackbelt in the warrior arts of the samurai. 1st degree blackbelt in tae kwon do and a 1st degree blackbelt eagle claw kung fu.
