regular sonic loses every freaking time. Sonic would need to cheat and use an outside power to turn super sonic which is not apart of him! Like saying Batman gets a Godzilla robot Vs Deathstroke. Batman does not normally carry a Godzilla robot in his belt so yeah.
Any Sonic without outside source wil get destroyed by Vegeta

Everyone knows that the EVA series pwns most other mecha and robots. The absurdly powerful AT field and other abilities make it a virtual monster.

Not sure if it was in any transformed state, but in the comics Sonic went so fast that he destroyed a solar system and went a light year in just an hour. He was basically like Pre-Crisis Superman, inconsisten to the max but most of the time was redicouly powerful. It was probably in a transfomed state though, so Super Sonic or Hyper Sonic wreck Vegeta while regualr Sonic loses.
