im comparing the blast from chidori+raasengan as a mini nuke!!!! its because chidori and raasengan usually pierce or cut through their targets with highly concentrated damage. when they are faced with equally large resistance, they BURST. releasing their energy and giving us a scope of the true damage potential which was concentrated and cudnt be seen. again, ur wrong. the first time sasuke used the chidoi he dived from the waterfall while naruto was at the bottom standing on water. neither was using the kyuubi chakra or curse seal at all. that explosion caused the water t form waves on the lake. go watch the episode again. and it is easily stated that even NOW sasuke pre urochi's death could not kill itachi even with the help of urochimaru. and yet you presume raikiri would have worked on him.

your inability to discern evidence from the mangaa and anime is not my problem. his eyes atre blurred in the manga, yes. but the blurring is very small, easily indicating the size of his eyes which is closed at the time. look at the panel later when tsukiyomi has hit him. look at the size of the eye in comparison to the face and then compare it with the blurring before., youll see a stark differnce. better yet look at the anime{btw, kishimoto confirmed that all non filler animes were cannon}

we already know seeing from the fight with 4 tails that urochimaru was not going all out against sandaime. he didnt cause that much damage and didnt use his kusanagi to its true potential, nor did he use his healing/snake jutsus the way he did against naruto. unless the 3rd can succesfully use the shinigami technique. hes dead.
