Actually that is sexist. Saying that girls should only be in games as sex objects and eyecandy is sexist. Saying that women shouldn't be the main characters and should just be supportive is basically saying that men>women. Becuase obviously no women can be the star. This probably isn't what you meant but thats what you sounded like.

Maybe it's the "girls should be eye candy" statement by me. How does that equate to "girls shouldn't be the lead characters" or "girls should JUST be sex objects? It does not. If anything that means if you're putting in a female, make her look nice. 90% of the time male lead characters are handsome for the same reason. Unless we're playing Resident Evil or House of the Dead, expect beatifully crafted people.

What was implied, as in the post you just quoted (yay for repetition) is that VG girls are hot, I'd rather play as a male for obvious reasons, and would rather play/fight/adventure alongside a female character than to be in control of one. Preference =/= sexism.YouTube video313

Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 Bundle Spotted
Special limited edition coming to North America?

February 10, 2010 - A new Final Fantasy XIII-themed Xbox 360 bundle appears to be headed to North American shores.

A listing found on Microsoft's 'Expertzone' retailer website displays the new bundle, complete with package shots and details. The bundle is said to include a limited edition console, two wireless controllers, a 250GB harddrive, AV and network cables, a headset, and a copy of the game, of course. No release date was given, but it looks like it will cost $399.

Square-Enix did release a special edition PlayStation 3 bundle, but it was limited to only Japan.

We contacted Square-Enix for comment and will provide an update when we hear back.

At least the Japanese White PS3 had artwork on them 😬...

Apparentely one of the guys working on FFXIII said that the "linearity" criticized by reviews is just because of the nature of westerners being used to getting thrown in a huge sandbox environment.

To be perfectly honest, I don't like being thrown into a huge sandbox either. I thought Mass Effect handled the balance between linearity and sandbox very nicely.

I don't get what "linearity" he is talking about though...I mean are there towns to explore? Because that is always fine in my book. Only huge openbox environment game I liked from the beginning, though huge as hell, was Fallout 3. Could never get into Morrowind/Oblivion
