What do you think will be the "fear factor" (please excuse the pun.) of RE5?I've head that hydration and heat will be a big factor in the game, since it takes place in a dry/desert area.
A fear factor might possibly be from the fact that Chris's vision has to adjust whenever he has to step into brightness or darkness, what a shock it will be to have a nasty enemy swinging a weapon into your face as the glare of the African sun dissipates.
I didn't like the transition to the lower level during the Scene that "IT" enters.
I was like, "How did I get down in these compartments? I didn't notice Leon falling all the way down here", but I realized when the transition happened, it just didn't flow together as good as it should have.
That scenario depleted me of quite a few bullets and actually when we were fighting up above out of the compartments, my last bullet was the one to kill him.
I've always wondered whether the game did that b/c it was my last bullet or b/c all it really needed was one more bullet to be finished off.

The fear factor of RE4 was the idea of always being surrounded. The actual enemy types werent scary (aside from bosses), but what got me is consentently getting attacked from behind.
I always found that the first level in the game is the hardest. After replaying it on the Wii, I am still inclined to think that the first level is the hardest.

I never ran out of bullets on 'IT' all I used was the barrel, a couple well placed Magnum bullets, and some auto-rifle bullets. And it might be because it's the last bullet everytime, remember you do have your knife with L, so they could make you knife him if you have to.

Especially the part where you're on a cliff and you see multiple Las Plagas down below you camping out but all you had to do was aim at an Explosive can and it finished them all off and other scenarios like that.

Ah man, I always made sure I had a rocket launcher (at least one shot) with me before that fight. Then I'd finish it off with the magnum.I've never had that fight without either. I assume its gotta be hell without 'em.
It's alright, as long as you've got something powerful. BB is best.
I just downloaded the RE5 trailer to my PS3 hard drive. and it looks f*ckin' awesome! I keep hearing that the "Las Plagas" organisms and the Ganados will not be in the game, yet we can see a man being held down and having something force fed to him resulting in his eyes bleeding and becoming filled with homicidal rage (28 Days Later, anyone?).
Also, is the location supposed to be in Africa or Haiti? I keep hearing both. It is said that the director's inspiration was from the movie Black Hawk Down, so, personally, I'm guessing that the game will be set in Somalia or some other third world African country.
