Resident Evil 5

You do realise that by trying to be a peacekeeper where there was no disruption, you have just cause this discussion, right? There wasn't any drama except for when you make problems by getting into discussions like this, whereas if you'd left it, we'd not be discussing this now, and I'd be going about my business discussing the games. You're trying to prevent something you just personally believed was going to happen, none of your business. If you don't like it, stay out.

I'm doing nothing but discussing the game civilly and asking him to provide evidence, standard debate. If he wishes to ignore it, he can do so, I'm not gonna force the man to reply, if anything his avoidance just proves my points, but so long as I'm replying civilly, I'm doing nothing wrong by replying to him. So your concern has been duly noted, you can stop it now. I'll keep replying and discussing as I see fit, as will he, there needn't be a continuation of this discussion. Ok? Sweet.

So now we can continue discussing the games. How many R.E's have you finished so far, Innerise?

-AC

IR, you are not a mod, so stop acting like it.

And one of the nice things about this being a public forum...is that anyone can reply to any post that they wish.

Now, back to talking about RE5.

I've finished all of the RE games. The most disappointing was Code: Veronica.

RE5 looks to be like a fast paced action game similar to RE4.

I do hope, however, the RE5 will offer some more challenging puzzle solving elements that were lacking, IMO, from RE4.

The most challenging puzzle from RE4, again, IMO, was the re-arrange the pieces from when you play as Ashley in the catacombs before you run away from the suits of armor that chase after you.

As long as you understand what you just said and stick to it and become CIVIL, yes it will all be SWEET.

I've actually completed all except for Resident Evil ZERO. I started but never finished.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

As long as I'm not being uncivil to you, it's none of your concern either way, despite the fact that I've been nothing but neutral in this thread, but whatever. You don't get to mod my debates, so stop trying to.

Why didn't you finish Zero?

-AC

I'm of the opinion that the mood in here has always ben civil, but unnecessarily blown out of proportion.

I like both of you. 131

IR, save yourself the headache, just stop before AC and Lana over here both have power trips on you. AC will proceed to try to dominate with unnecessary bullshit knowledge, and Lana will continue to wave the almighty discipline. There's no putting an end to either one, just take the grade school approach: ignore the jackass.

Exactly, Imped.

I've nothing specifically against anybody here, but for some reason specific people claim I ruin the thread based off their own inability to cope with my being here.

What's your favourite R.E, Imped?

And yet he'll ignore the fact that I've never said anything of such hostility to you since I've been here.

And what unnecessary bullshit knowledge? The knowledge I have of R.E that surpasses yours and makes your debate crumble? That's very necessary, we're discussing R.E. What isn't necessary is you bearing a grudge so large that it's rendered you incapable of discussing R.E with me because I simply know more than you.

Honestly? I love RE2 the most. The double scenarios did it for me.

RE3 was the scariest, since Nemesis was always around the corner waiting to terrify you.

RE4 was a breath of fresh air.

What about you, AC?

ok, i finally managed to get to watch the video for 5, and i have to say, it looks awesome... i'm really eager to see what they're going to do with this...

chris is just muscular, i dont see why people are saying his arms are too big...

RE:3, despite its lack of plot revelation (ac is right imo, all it basically does is show how jill got out of RC), was a fine game at the time of its release, and in terms of gameplay at least was a proper sequel to RE:2...

jill to me was always just easy mode in the original game, given how difficult the game was on chris' mode...

Actually, the 'grade school' approach is continuing to bicker, especially after having been told to stop.

All things considered, 4 for sure.

2 had elements I don't think any game has surpassed in the series, but 4 had a lot more of those to itself.

I didn't find Nemesis scary at all, it's all in the panic. Once you chill, he's a nobody.

-AC

And the point you took the time to try to correct me is you just throwing gasoline into the fire because this is the internet and it continues.

I have to agree, but you have to admit that, at least once, Nemesis coming out of nowhere made you throw the controller out of your hands in a fit of fear/panic.

How about you try listening to what I tell you and knock off the snide remarks? If I say stop bickering, that means stop bickering and not another word. It does not mean 'ignore and continue'.

Now if you guys want to all b!tch at each other off-topic, that's what PMs are for. But do not continue to drag this thread down. I do not want to see another hostile comment in this thread. That's the end of it.

Not really.

I think his entrance was decent, but the setting was a little too safe, cos you could always just run past him and into the station to safety.

-AC

What do you think will be the "fear factor" (please excuse the pun.) of RE5?

I've head that hydration and heat will be a big factor in the game, since it takes place in a dry/desert area.

That's what I love about R.E, the monsters aren't all you have to worry about.

I think it all depends. In 4 the ganados were easy when there were two or three, but in a tight area with many, it's a different story.

-AC

Actually, even when there were more than 2 or 3 they were still fairly easy to deal with.

Yes, when you're used to it and armed with a shotgun.

Every R.E game on any difficulty is "fairly easy" to deal with for me, now. Different story first time around.
