Resident Evil 5

I downloaded the PS3 demo last night. This game is going to be sicker than HIV and Cancer combined. The control scheme was a little tricky to get used to, but I soon figured it out after a few playthroughs.

If you say quality, or what's better, I could name a dozen FPS's alone that are > Resident Evil, imo.

As for gameplay, you'd still be off. Resident Evil's nothing that other games haven't.

It's not a FPS though. I refer to other 'horror games'.

I take it the second sentence means 'it has nothing that other games haven't'. In which case, strictly true, but I don't think there is another game as good as RE4 in so many areas. Obviously that comes down to personal choice, effectively.

Played the demo yesterday. Loved every second of it. harder than i remember resident evil 4 being, but it doesn't bother me.

also, the part in the second level where chris throws the girl accross the buildings? yeah, my bro was the chick, came down, and there's me standing at the gate. i shot the barrel far too early. he wasn't impressed... 😂

awesome. looks like being one of the games of the year already...

PLayed the demo also. Loved it. The number of people out to get you was really scary, kewpt throwing me off guard. And it's very easy to run out of ammo if you freak out 😕

Remember the Resident Evil 4 demo for GameCube? (Where you actually had to equip the knife in your inventory to use it, instead of holding L) The first time that Salvador and 14 other Los Illuminados run at me, I must have shat a brick.

The Xbox magazine that i get gave it a 8/10

Pretty much saying it is a good game but just not the greatest one thats been released

also apparantly its Shorter then the 4th game.

Do they mean not the greatest RE game released, or did they actually expect Capcom to come up with the greatest game of all time? uhuh

The demo was ****ing awesome. Sheva is hot too. I like the control scheme because it feels similar but like someone else said, it's a bit tricky. Love the game and love the axe wielding mini-boss and the chainsaw wielding guard in the Shanty Town.

is it going to be like the demo where you just.. choose wherever you want to go?.. or is it actually going to take you through the story?

I would imagine the game will progress you through the story in a linear fashion the select chapter mode will probably only be used to backtrack through previous chapters.

Shorter than RE4, an 8/10.....WTF? So what are people trying to tell us, that RE5 won't be as great as we expected? Bull****! I give it a 10/10. That's it, I'm done reading them for a while 😠

Well the magazine that i get, Yes they did

also they were'nt happy with how the inventory system is done and they say "Feels like a retread of RE4".

God, I can't wait for this game to come out.

The one thing I'm rather annoyed about and this is from a story perspective (not gameplay) is.

How we the players won't get to kill Spencer in this game.

I love how your gonna get the chance to buy ammo when you run into a shop. They wouldn't do that in number 4. I think that would kinda make the game easy for me since ammo religiously doesn't cost much 😎

Yeah, that kind of irked me in 4. The Merchant has all this weaponry, but no ammo? WTF.
