My death count was impeccable until those things started appearing. And I refuse to let them force my death grade down with their silly one-hit kills.

Just for once, Capcom should not be putting giant bugs in games like this. Giant bugs in RE4 were annoying and now giant bugs in RE5 are a pain in the ass. I run past them one time and suddenly I get grabbed and get killed. Where's the roach repellant?

I hate those damn things. I find myself loadin' up on Acid and Explosive rounds just in case they were in the stage. Hate'im wit a passion.

The trick is to just stay away always.

I Suppose when Capcom made them their reasoning was that because every time you fight them you have a lot of space to move around, giving them really gay abilities is like scolding you for trying to get up close to them.

They move relatively slowly and they can be killed three or four shots to the right spot at the right time, so just stay as far from the mas possible.

Who gets pissed that when a Majini swings his chainsaw around, you can't dodge it?

When I'm in front of one, he's about to swing his chainsaw and I try to turn and run to avoid it but suddenly I get sawed. Capcom was making this game for three years and they didn't think about adding a friggin dodge button?

Not to mention, he can kinda move fast. I try runnin' from the guy to get some room to work and he's right behind me. At least if you can't run and shoot, you can walk and shoot.

I'm in... 5-3, I think, where at least two appear on catwalks with very little wiggle room for getting around them. And for some reason I keep missing the final target boil on the chest.

The Chainsaw Majini are easily dodged because they have a buildup of over a second, very much telegraph the attack, and can be run around to either side for no penalty. I never had an issue with one of them except for the first, while stuck in the Ithaca's reloading animation.

Who agrees with me that there should be a patch for Sheva's AI?

People should learn how to use her properly before complaining about the AI. You have to know when to switch her between Attack and Cover.

Or play with a partner.

i didn't see any problem wit her. She was actually 1 of the best AIs I have ever worked in a game.

She shoots you, she kicks you when you're next to a stunned enemy, she sometimes does nothing when I'm too busy fighting a damn horde. You call that one of the best AIs?

Not her fault you don't turn off the Action Reaction. That sounds like the NI needs a patch, not the AI.

NI?...

I haven't tried to play using the AI.. I've only done either split or partner play thus far...

the only frustration I've had, was how sensitive of location the context action system is... cuz my partner was by a ladder and needed healing (it was one of those situations where he didn't realize he needed healing yet cuz he was rather busy with enemies)..

so I ran up to him.. he took a step backwards.. and cuz my ISP was crappy and laggy.. "heal partner" turned to "jump down" by the time the game read my action.. and I jumped all the way down.. and sprayed myself with the first aid... lol.. it was funny and aggravating at the same time 😮

Also.. I'm pretty disappointed that the "Action Reaction" is not equivalent to Friendly Fire... its only the animated reaction and not the damage to go with it.. it would make people way more precise than just running in somewhere and going buckwild

So it is friendly fire mode, good job I turned it off the first time and never have turned it on since.

Sheva's AI was passable, not at all impressive at all compared to other AI companions. Not horrid by any means - I didn't have any trouble with her till the last part, when she'd just stroll up into the boss and get one shotted while I was standing far back. There really is no logical excuse for that at all, just poor design right there. She's supposed to be more or less your equal so having to hold her hand like she was an 8 year old girl in order to keep her from murdering herself obviously is not acceptable.

Chris - I need ammo

Sheva - No way.

Huge Mijini kills Chris.

You're Dead

That's what happened one time.

You referring to those regenerative bugs? If so, yeah. They're easily the most annoying enemies in the game.

Co-signed.

The key basically, is knowing what to give her and what not to give her (and when to do it). That's all.

Yeah, it's pretty unrealistic. I was hoping to use that to get the Lifeguard achievement sooner, but ended up getting it the old fashioned way.

Yeah, she does waste her ammo shootin' me sometimes but other than that she was VERY helpful. If I wanted her to stop shootin' me I would send her to attack, pretty easy if you as me.

Can you name some better ones, in your opinion?
