Today’s churches are the same as they were 2,000 years ago. Religious conservative fundamentalists rule churches and followers with fear-based doctrines because conservative fundamentalists fear both God and truth.
Jesus and his followers were liberals, not conservatives. It was the religious conservatives, the Pharisees, who had Jesus crucified. Jesus survived the crucifixion by drinking “gall and vinegar” as mixing vinegar and snake venom, (or gall), produces a death-like coma.
Jesus recovered from the crucifixion, had 3 children with Mary Magdalene, did all the “miracles” attributed to him and much more. Jesus merely completed his Physical Body Ascension into Light, later in his life.
Conservative fundamentalists today, like those 2,000 years ago, prevent people from learning the spiritual truths and mysteries of God’s Creation which activate one’s Soul and frees one’s Holy Spirit. If a church leader cannot tell you precisely where your Soul is, and exactly where your Holy Spirit is, they do not know what they are talking about in their churches, and they are hypocrites.
Conservative fundamentalists are the worst type of hypocrites, because not only do they no longer know how to activate their Soul and free their Holy Spirit, they prevent others from learning how to awaken and activate their own connections to Heaven. Thus, most people are prevented from being able to enjoy living their life in the heaven of their Soul’s Conscious Awareness, while still maintaining full Awareness of their human body in activity. Conservative fundamentalists today do not understand, and therefore cannot teach, the many hidden truths in the Bible.
23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Religious fundamentalists are hypocrites who appear to live clean lives on the outside, but on the inside they are full of the dirty electro-magnetic energies that become stored within those who judge other’s actions in life and/or express anger towards the spiritual choices of other people. Today’s conservative fundamentalist religious church leaders are just as spiritually corrupt and filthy, as the Pharisees 2,000 years ago.

The first thing Jesus mentioned when He answered the disciples' questions about the sign of His coming and the end of the age was to watch out for religious deceivers:
Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you.
The Lord also mentioned the success that false prophets will have in their deceptions. This should cause all Christians to stay on their spiritual guard, for many will be deceived🙁Mat 24:11)
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (2 Th 2:9,10)

So a book that admits to being fictional is "deception" now, is it? You have company in believing that, true enough, but I think this must be the single dumnest "contraversy" I've ever heard of.
Or maybe you're thinking about the 99th descendent guy. Well, let me let yu in on something. Withing mere generations of Jesus' death, people were teaching all sorts of things. The belief, for example, that Jesus was just a human possessed, demon-like, by the divine Christ. I suppose you'd call that a lie, too. So if "religous deception" is a sign of the end times, we must be pretty damn far into them by now.
Hey, also regarding the coming of the end times. Is that a prophecy on your part? Do we get to stone you to death if its wrong? For someone whose boss says that Christians should kill people who's "divinely inspired" predictions don't come to pass, you're sure throwing them around, aren't you?
