If so, I guess perhaps we can expect other places from Metroid Prime 3 to become planets in SSBB as well. ✅ One place from MP3:C that strikes as an ideal stage for me would have to be Bryyo (but an area of the planet without all that Fuel Gel stuff). Pirate Homeworld might make for a nice stage too, as there'd be that acid rain you would have to avoid and stuff.

Just a thought.

Actually, now that I think about it...

The glowing blue mushrooms in the background of that picture looks more similar to Phazon Mines or some section from Tallon IV than planet Phaaze itself, so I guess it's really Phazon Mines that may be a yet-to-be-revealed stage 😛, which would make sense considering that they already revealed the Frigage Orpheon, which was also from the first Metroid Prime.

Yeah. Good music, but not what I'd expect for a Christmas update.

Besides, we all knew about Super Sonic being Sonic's final smash since the day he was confirmed. 😬 Guess it's no surprise that they'd post an update about the final smash anyway to use as a "filler" update.

But eh, I guess now it's completely official that Rayquaza's a boss. Needless to say, better him to take the "dragon boss spot" than Ridley. >.>

I'll still being looking forward to fighting Ray though, with Fox no less (but I'd personally rather use Diddy since he's newer to Smash).

New Coin Launcher mode!

Instead of a simple dispenser machine getting your trophies is now a game in itself. Shoot earned coins at trophies to collect them, and shoot down enemy ships in formation to gather stickers and bonuses.

All in all, looks very fun. And the trophies look great. I see Phantom Ganon there!
