also.. its not possible for movement to be real-time, yet 'only' have the attacks lag... any command you input is lagged globally.. you're just not noticing it

That's not a good reason, seeing that I asked if anybody else had the same problem, not "what was the problem". And the reason I asked this is because the people who I was playing against online seemed to be doing just fine with the timing on their attacks.

The attacks was just an example. Of course any movement I put lag, but the gameplay is usually at it's normal speed (it slows down sometimes but I already know why and expected that). Everything I do don't respond fast enough, yet everybody else seems to be doing just fine.

thats either because, they were hosting the match.. or they have learned to anticipate the lag... people do have the same problem, I assure you... which is why I only do 1v1 as it cuts down on lag

also the locations of your opponents will put a damper on the network as well

Heh. To be honest though, I don't even know that spanish kid myself (but I agree that his spelling could be better). He was just someone I came across who added me to his FC list when I played someone else one time. A lot of people hate him because of the way he plays with Game&Watch apparently. 😖 His Mario isn't as bad though.
Wow. I've beaten that guy quite a bit recently with Ganon, even his Mario.
Mmmm Brawl is so FUN! Man I can't believe how amazing this game is! It's so great and amazing and splendid and it has so much to do! I never had so much fun with a game before. It is simply the essence of what gaming should be. I'm so glad I have the game because even a second a part from this masterpiece is like a million lifetimes in the eternal suffering that is hell.
I got one week left to do this MM so I'm going to milk it for all it's worth.
