ya... but one thing comes to mind... Do you think thay will have any final fantasy Players like Cloud? or some others? thay were for nintendo at first like snake so what do you think.

If Sonic was to be announced as a playable character in this game, I don't think posting it as an update on the site would be the way to do it.

Because of the amount of people who want him in the game (I'm not included in that group of people b/c I couldn't care less) I think a more official, grandiose way would be a more appropriate way to reveal it, such as the way that they did with Snake.

In other words, Sonic should appear at the end of the next trailer of SSBB. Well, one of them...

in which case they will probably show off a new character, sort of like petey piranha except hes not playable

Don't say that. Nintendo didn't go through all the work to find who the most requested third-party character was for nothing...which was Sonic.

If Sonic were to be in the game, to be true to his nature he'd have to be the king of TKOs. None of the stages are designed to accommodate "the fastest thing alive." He'd be constantly zooming off edges.

Seems only right, thats what happens in all his games lately. 😂

I'm sure that if Sonic is in SSBB, he wouldn't be that fast. He'd be the fastest character, but I doubt he'll be fast to the point where the player can barely control him.

Well, it's not real Sonic, then. Can you imagine the legions of Sonic fans whining "Sonic's not fast enough! If you aren't gonna make him as fast as he's supposed to be, you should just leave him out!"

Sonic in Brawl is going to cause complaining no matter which way you look at it.

Of course none of them are real. They're trophies. Heck Mewtwo and Ganondorf have been weakened a lot so that all characters are balanced. The same would be with Sonic. He would be the fastest character but not fast enough to be uncontrollable.

Oh, and don't you think SSB has already angered fanboys because Ganondorf can actually be beaten by the Ice Climbers, Game & Watch, and every other character?

SSBM, not SSB.
