Someone did the math, and if you get all 21 (I think) little sisters in the game and harvest them all, you get a total of like 320 more ADAM than if you saved them all.

Even counting the presents?

Could be the way the game was coded, but did you have any ADAM left and no plamids, slots, tonics, upgrades and such left?

The reason I asked this because I had about 80 ADAM left and nothing to buy. I got all slots, plasmids I could buy and tonics (even some I already have) that I could get, but I noticed that some plasmids that the Cyclone plasmids was only the second tier, not third.

I maxed out all of my plasmid slots yeah.

There may have been a few other things I could have bought, nothing I was desperate for, though.

Yeah, that's counting the presents.

The reason for harvesting is also to get more Adam FASTER. Instead of having to wait for every 3 sisters, you get an assload all at once and can become really powerful pretty early on.

Yeah, I guess I forgot about that.

I used my plamids sparingly. I basically went through the whole game shooting first and sometimes I would use the plasmids.

Switching from electro to gun to finish them off took to much time while shooting them down was quicker.

I did use my electro alot to zap turrets and hack them. Man, I must atleast hacked every turret in the game. I got the achievement points for master hacker not even the half way point of the game.

I plugged in my Xbox controller to my PC, and then played Bioshock on the Xbox Version... With the controller right on my PC.. And I must say, I'm not as impressed as I was with the PC.

I found it alot more clunky to move around and shoot etc, and every things just harder to use. and get off fast enough.

I also found differences in the sound effects and music, but that's just what happened with me

PC > Xbox

*shrugs*

Still love the game, just PC is better.

On the PC/Xbox graphic test the 360 version looked much better.
As for the controller you might haven't got used to fps games on the box.....everything is hard to use?Oh please......

Yeah, I finally beat BioShock.

It had the worst ending I've seen since "Gears of War" when I beat it 4 days after it came out.

I felt ripped off. Intense game though. I beat it on my B-day (Aug29) 9 days after it came out. And i didn't play for 2 of those days so I could've brought it back for a refund. o well.

I've never saved so much in a game like I did in this one. I must've saved like a couple hundred times. I would save like every 3 mins...lol

Next up for me is MotoGp 07 this week then Halo 3 in a few weeks.

The graphic test?

I was under the impression with Direct 10 visuals and an higher resolution, it can be better than the 360 version.

Playing with a controller > playing with mouse and keyboard anyday. Plus the fact that you gotta upgrade all the time means 360 > PC.

Mouse and Keyboard is always superior for FPS games. It offers greater speed and accuracy in aiming. There's a reason why console FPS games need to have Auto Aim usually. Because aiming precicely is much more difficult.

Maybe the mouse part, but not the keyboard part. I've always sucked at using the keyboard, I don't know why.
Plus, I would much rather sit on my recliner and play on a big TV then sit on a computer chair and play on a computer screen. Not that that has anything to do with the game itself, but still.

IMO, the only thing that makes PC better is the Mods.

From what I hear, the purpose of the ending isn't to be some mega revelation, just let you know that more is gonna happen. The same with Gears, it's a trilogy (Gears).

The ending I got doesn't really give off a "more is coming" vibe. Maybe the other ending does, I dunno.

I'm sure there will be another Bioshock, though, either way. Just wasn't like a cliffhanger ending, the story felt more or less complete and finished.

It was an ending. Nothing to suggest more; if they make another they'd have to sly their way out of it.

Unless they go on a tangent.

Spoiler:
That goes for the 'good' ending, anyway. The 'bad' ending is somewhat more open, though if they were to carry on it would likely be a big departure from the current game, which somewhat defeats the object of a sequel. We will see, anyway. (Wasn't really a spoiler, but just in case)

Ken Levine's already hinted at a sequel. And with the massive success of Bioshock, it's bound to happen.

Hopefully it will be as good or better.

They're a skilled bunch, I'd have faith.

No one can factually say whether the PC is easier to control FPS over the Xbox, or vice versa. It's a matter of opinion, and what one is comfortable with.

True, true.

I just find the controller more clunky.. Still like it though 😊

The funny thing is that I dont want an sequel for Bioshock. I want an different game because I just think those guys create great experiences but I feel that Bioshock doesnt need an sequel. It's great on its own.

But what I want is a fake documentry on how Andrew Ryan built Rapture, because Rapture as itself was fascinating. This is one time where if an good director had the rights to Bioshock, I would want an movie about it. Not an movie about the game, and your player, but an movie about how he built the city, the war in the city and how the city was destroyed.

One question though, how would 2k Boston do a direct sequel to Bioshock? I dont know if I want to revisit Rapture again because the major impact to me about the game was that it was an city under the water. Coming back to it in a sequel wouldnt be the same.
