Everyone who played the demo at E3 said it was basically perfect and that was two years ago.

I love "Paper Mario 2: The Thousand Year Door".

Some of the music is very catchy.

More then likely although no one has thought about Rosetta possibly being a villain like Cackaleta or Princess Shroom manipulating Mario for her own ends

This is the Plot so far

Every hundred years a comet passes over the Mushroom Kingdom and rains down stars and stardust, and as Princess Peach and the citizens of the kingdom are celebrating the centennial event, Bowser and his legions attack by launching asteroids at the Mushroom Kingdom and crystalizing the Toads. Knowing that Bowser is after Princess Peach, Mario runs to save her. Things go awry as Bowser summons a massive spaceship which abducts Peach's entire castle. As Mario hangs on to the castle, Kamek, confirmed as a boss in Stardust Galaxy, hits him with a magical attack sending him far away. The next thing he knows, he finds himself on a mysterious moon high above the Mushroom Kingdom.

Also, screenshots in an issue of the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu show a new female character, Rosetta. She is a Watcher of the Stars who aids Mario on his quest to find her friend, the Grand Star, in addition to Princess Peach

Almost right. As far as I know its not her "friend". The Grand Stars are like bigger stars you have to collect to illuminate more of the observatory (the Hub level) so you can access more Galaxy's (levels). There are multiple "Grand Stars" as far as I could tell in the IGN gameplay walkthrough and you have to collect them in order to progress.

We shall find out soon

The music in Galaxy is fully orchestrated and if this song is an indication of how good all the music in the game is going to be then we're in for some of the best music in a Mario game ever. Freaking fantastic.
