Currently the Metroid Prime trilogy owns all.

Not that big of a surprise. Galaxy was said to have co-op so if anything it should be Mario & Luigi like the good old days.

there is no confirmed yoshi, but there has been a yoshi in every mario game since super mario world (not including New Super Mario Brothers, they wanted to keep it as original as possible, though he was in the mini games) if im not mistaken

so its safe to assume that yoshi will at least make a cameo in this game

ive got my money on a yoshi based planet that is inhabited purely by yoshis

and i do not think luigi will be in this game

again, all opinions so dont freak out or anything

That's only three games; World, 64, and Sunshine. Luigi was in Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros, SMB2, SMB3, and Super Mario World but failed to show up in 64 (expect the remake) and Sunshine. Just because a character was in previous games doesn't mean he'll make an appearence in the next.
