Keep in mind that the Wii really did catch developers off guard, the industry is still in shock and attempting to regain their balance from the Wii's insane success (Even I was surprised that it is doing THIS good) Its been about a year since its release and we already have Metroid, Galaxy, and Zelda as AAA games. Plus we have the other A titles out or coming out like Mario Strikers, SSX Blur, Zack and Wiki, DBZBT2 and 3, Resident Evil:UC, Battalion Wars, Manhunt 2, Trauma Center 1 and 2, Battalion Wars 2, Medal of Honour Heroes 2...Can you say that about many other systems in their first year? Not really, the 360 didn't get such games until Gears and that was a long way after its launch, and it was only 1 title. Developers are trying to catch up to the Wii's success that's why we have such bad 3rd part support (there is LOTS of 3rd party support, just 90% are all just shitty games). But we are already beginning to see better 3rd party games like Zack and Wiki, Medal of Honour etc. Just give it time, the Wii is seemingly going to be the PS2 of this generation meaning there will be A LOT of realllly bad games, and a good amount of really good games. Just give it time, its not even a year yet and we already have way more games worth playing then pretty much any other system ever released for its first year. Not much to complain about.

If I remember correctly everyone was calling the Wii a gimmick and that the PS3 would reign supreme; basically it was the same argument with the DS and PSP. The PSP is technologically superior then the DS and all the DS has is a "gimmick" with the touch screen. Basically same argument; Wii's motion consoles is much like the touch screen and the PS3 is technologically superior.

Yeah it was called a Gimmek (Showed them) But everyone had the 360 on the card's, then the PS3 was top then the 360 went back on top, now the 360 shall alway's be on top, with the Wii behind it.
