I am not sure what exactly my previous stance was on gun bans, I believe I found a bunch of the arguments to be idiotic, but was undecided myself. Either way, as it is now I think that the people should have the right to carry guns. Just wanted to update everyone on my opinion.....cause it is so important.

With regards to other weapons as murder tools, I believe Canada exceeds the rate of the Americans.
However, there is something like 600x as many gun deaths.
The rate of crime in Canada could merely be the fact that Canadians consume 3x as much marijuana on average vs any other western country. Whereas a larger percentage of American crime would be gun violence.
Another example, Toronto is one of our biggest cities. In one of the past couple years, there were something like 4 or 5 people killed accidentally in gun violence, and it was nicknamed the "year of the gun". Though, there are cafes in T dot where you can smoke weed openly.
