well....i don't know about that

the guessing game game is deeper then in Tekken, soo if you make a wrong decision, youre F*cked. half life is gone. Ever heard of kara's ?

Also don't forget that you have frames. you can revearsal and you have to know what beat what and what comes first!!!

And you have to watch the distances. you have too hit you opponent with the tones of your feets!!! or else you F*cked up again!!!

and not that's not true what you said about the difference between Japan and America, cause america can play sf 3 also Japanese.

Difference between America and Japan is that in Japan, you play EVERY DAY AGAINST THE BEST OF THE BEST SF PLAYERS IN A ARCADEHALL AFTER SCHOOL!!!!

that's why they are soo good and they have also played soooo many games that are unknow.

SF3 3s is the best fightinggame together with Virtua Fighter.

lol.. everything you mentioned applies to all fighting games

and I'm talking mostly of japanese arcade software... most of the time american arcades dont take the risk of importing a japanese arcade board unless its a very successful arcade ... being that I live on the east coast... there arent that many lol

there used to be an arcade within walking distance in my town but it went bankrupt I guess... they had sf3, tekken 3, marvel vs street fighter... even some classics like the first fatal fury and world heroes... really fun.. but poof vanished... lord only knows when another arcade gonna breeze in

I read that a kara is cancelling a move that was never meant to hit... tekken has tons of cancels.. as does soul calibur

that's why 2d is harder and diffecult'er

and goes deeper. cause in tekken you can dodge aside and in sf you are trapt in the corner and then the mindgame begins. guessing game, kara's overheads, throw's set/mix ups

you know how many people play 3s in Japan? more then Tekken 😉

sf 3 third strike is one of the best fighting games on the world.

VIRTUA FIGHTER IS LOVED MORE THEN SF IN JAPAN!!! and goes deeper then sf. tekken doesn't. every one says it that i know even the best tekken players.

I agree on harder and more difficult part, but deeper ❌ 3d actually makes it deeper because you always have more ways.

noo they haven't 😐 they have CANCELBLE's YES!! but kara's noo. only 3s has it.

you don't see the animation of the other move. you see just one move, and that's not by the other fightinggames. it has to be canceld in 0,0005688095 seconds, soo thats fast 🙂

and noo 3d is not deeper. in the corner you are trapt. tekken you can walk around him. running away is also difficult in sf 3, cause it is a square.

And that's exactly why it is deeper. 🙂

you didnt bother to clarify 'what' a kara is... so why bother mentioning it again?....

in the corner you are trapped ?... what game is that referring to?.. I hope not Sf3 lol... parrying prevents being trapped in all situations

tekken also has lots of sidestepping strikes

and you cant run in capcom games... you're thinking of SNK

more ways to what sam-z, the fact that jump ins aren't used to their fullest in 3d fighting games is pathetic.

Your partialy right, a kara is a cancel used to gain more distance by canceling normals into grabs or special moves thus giving them more distance. it's a spacing technnique. and soul calibur 3 sucks the game is completely broken.

Try parrying oro's tengu ishi corner trap.

yeah.. I kinna like the first soul cal the best...

as for oro.. if you knew how to do that setup... couldnt you very well know how to parry it?

you also have unblockebles and Kara is what i have said above, and is not just an ordinary canceling.

Kara cancal

A japanese term that means ''empty cancel''. It is used to describe a situation in wich you cancel out an normal attack into a special move before even seeing the normal attack come out. Usually used to gain extra range on special attacks, suck as throws.

Parry also gives you something extra to the game. Red Parry is also extra.

and yes youre trapped in the corner till you know how to get out

It's not "Un-Parriable" the computer can parry anything , but for a human player it's really improbable. hell oro's tengu ishi corner trap gives red parries problems. the reason why is you keep your opponent in a blocking state, if they try to parry then they have to do it 4 times and by the time the parry the fourth hit you can recover and hit them with another small hit plus trying to parry it would lead you to alot of trouble since it can lead to a full stun.

Tekken if I remember should have unblockables, but anyway Shin-Remy I disagree kara throws can be really good especially with oro.

This thing about, thrid strike is charge partioning. it allows you to do rapid fire with remy.

More ways to dodge, to trap, to avoid etc Blue Nocturne, and that is also true for almost any 3D fighting game. And in some of them jumps are used to their fullest potential. And in SF almost all jumps you can easilly stop, espcially if you play with Ryu, Ken, Sagat etc.

euh i know that tekken has unblockebles, and i didn't say that kara sucks!! Kara's are good!!!!! on high lvl play it is used very much.

i'm just home from a street fighter 3 third strike and tekken 5 tournament...

omg i'm broken!!!!!!!!! what a day, i have played my ass off.

More ways to trap despite the fact You have more ways to avoid 😕

Stop jump ins with what a shoryuken? you'll just get parried and eat an attack. countering a jump in with a shoryuken is dumb because it could just be an empty jump in.
