Speaking from the perspective of someone who lives with a bitter single woman (mother), I can attest to the fact that women hold infidelity in all its forms on a level relatively close to eating babies alive and the holocaust.
The difference between men and women is that while women detest both men and women cheaters, guys generally just don't really care about cheating unless it has to with their own relationship or the relationship of someone they're close to. Like, I've never heard a guy call Tiger Woods a scumbag for cheating on his wife, on the other hand I don't know a single woman who doesn't take his infidelity seriously, almost personally.
