No, midichlorians communicate with the Force; the higher the midichlorian count, the greater one's natural connection to the Force is.

What midichlorians aren't is skill, which is what you refer to as "actualized potential."

^ Qui-Gon flat out says that nine-year-old Anakin, with zero formal training, is unusually strong in the Force. I can collect further quotes if need be, but it is a distinction that's fairly simple to understand.

Agreed. The word "potential" is never once used in the Star Wars saga. But we are told 9 year old Anakin is unusually strong in the force, and we know he can pod race without any training. He just would have no idea how to apply that connection to the force in combat. So he was not more "powerful" than Yoda and Sidious until he reached a certain level in his training. But just the fact that he defeated Count friggin Dooku at such a young age shows the significance of having an unusualy strong connection to the force.

Its a pity your gone Turr.

Exam week 🙁 ......

I did just make it very clear about not communicating with known socks. Watch yourself.

No offense (although as a naturally defensive human being, you'll definitely take some), but every time you have posted the past week or two, I have had only one reaction to said posts.

Lol, that picture would be actually pretty clever if they replaced the 'R' with a 'D'.

Oh btw, I found another overpowered Galen Marek feat:

'Soon the foyer was full of the twitching, smoking bodies of the temple's hapless guardians. He began to tire, not from exertion but from the tedium of knocking down droid after droid, to no apparent end. There might have been thousands of them.

Deactivating his lightsaber, he took a deep breath. With one mighty exhalation of power, he blasted all of them-those in pieces and those approaching with needle-tipped fingers and vibrosaws upraised-out of the foyer doors. Then he blasted the rubbish piles after them. He kept pushing until a dark cloud toured out over Raxus Prime's hideous landscape-an artificial hurricane full of droid golems.'

Yes, you read that right. Starkiller destroys possibly thousands of droids and creates an artificial hurricane with the Force. 😐

Thoughts? Possible hyperbole?

So does that mean that Jedi are more powerful than Sith? Since Sith want to rule the galaxy, the Jedi stop them, and it takes them thousands of years to even rule part of it for a little while?

Definite hyperbole. Saying there "might have been thousands of them" is akin to me saying I "worked a million hours last year". It's physically impossible, but the point of the language is to get across how the individual feels -- exhausted.

I also don't buy that this is a genuine hurricane in size and strength, since they tend to be over a hundred or more miles across by definition. Maybe he made a respectable dust devil-sized debris funnel, but that's not entirely unrealistic. Unduli methodically made a twister out of loose sand that encased her form while levitating at the same time. With the right tapping of the Force, it's certainly something even an above average Jedi Master can accomplish.

I'm sorry, can you point out where in the Rules this is a violation so I can readily admonish others if I catch them doing the same thing? Thank you.

Is it just me or was Tron:Legacy simply stunning? From the unparalleled graphics to the badass soundtrack to the very kickass and continuity followed storyline, the movie was amazing.

? I hated it.

What is there to hate? Best graphics I have ever seen, amazing soundtrack, follows continuity to a T, and a great storyline.

i didn't think it was that good. I didn't hate it.
