If I recall correctly some mods were looking into the matter of his first ban. There was some mitigating circumstance like that he forgot the password to his original account in the first few days he was here and had to make a new one. When he was banned he hadn't actually used that account in 5 years, nor could he.

I just assumed the mods were cool with him being back.
