I'd say he gets 4-6 months due to overcrowding at this point, but hopefully he loses his license and his passport so he can't simply leave for Nevada or Grenada and practice again. The prosecution had some excellent rhetoric though. I enjoyed it.

As for the Casey Anthony case, Jose Biaz did an exceptional opening statement, but ultimately the defense case was BS. I don't know how defense lawyers sleep at night.

You've got to be kidding me. I am conservative, somewhat a republican, am anti ows movement, hate excuses and believe in personal responsibility. How is that NOT a prosecutor?

You're a Jew. Being the victim is an inherent part of your personality; so that's how I guess.

They use all that money they got paid for winning to bribe doctors into giving them powerful sedatives. 😐

Mainly because being one-sided in your political mentality doesn't necessitate that you will be a prosecutor, or even if you are one, a good prosecutor.

Prosecutors have to nail arguments consistently, with strong fact-finding research behind it and prepare for every eventuality. They have to enter and leave the courtroom with their desire to serve the truth burning for all to see.

I realize your behavior here is not the greatest example of your legal knowledge and expertise, but you have to admit that in comparison with most dedicated posters here your arguments lack evidence and instead rely on semantics, misdirection, and personal attacks.

GREAT defense lawyer tactics, or so I hear.

... Or I'm trolling. You tell me.

I lol'd.

Man what a sad end to an amazing career for Joe Pa...

I'd be more worried about the alleged rape victim.

Aren't you clever?

It's a travesty all-around; sad for the entire Penn State community.

I feel horrible for the victims.

What do you think Paterno should have done? Sandusky wasn't part of the staff when Joe Pa referred the matter to university administrators.

I am clever, don't you know?

But the point remains Paterno should have gone to the law when rape was involved, not to the athletic director. That's passing the buck. It may not be as wrong as the crime itself, but it certainly lacks moral backbone.

No, I just don't think he's been here lately.

Plus he's typically drunk as an Irishman at a wake, so there's that.

I'm not one sided with my political mentality, but the mentality itself supports the prosecutorial position and shows no evidence of defense lawyer tacticts or mentality.

Prosecutors have to nail arguments consistently, with strong fact-finding research behind it and prepare for every eventuality. They have to enter and leave the courtroom with their desire to serve the truth burning for all to see.
No, that's what prosecutors should be doing.

I realize your behavior here is not the greatest example of your legal knowledge and expertise, but you have to admit that in comparison with most dedicated posters here your arguments lack evidence and instead rely on semantics, misdirection, and personal attacks.

Depends on what arguments, sure. I had a good one with faunus a while back. My behavior on this forum isn't indicative of my knowledge of logic as much as an unwillingness to try. But I think we're arguing opposite things here. You're comparing me to a defense lawyer based on my argumentative tactics on this forum while I'm comparing myself to a prosecutor based on my social and political ideologies.

GREAT defense lawyer tactics, or so I hear.

Great movie and fyi, the best defense attorneys are former prosecutors. Something to think about there.

You got trolled, rofl.
